The prolific actor has picked his new drama character and we definitely can’t wait for his new project!
Previously, he powered a remarkable performance in MBC’s The Veil. Now, he is back at SBS camp since his last project Hot Stove League.
Notably, this will be his 9th drama on the network. His other well-loved projects in SBS include Beautiful Gongshim, Remember and A Girl Who Sees Smells.
Nam affirmed his appearance through an Instagram post on the afternoon of March 29th.
In the drama 천원짜리 변호사 One Thousand Won Lawyer (LT), Namgoong Min challenges the story of a poor lawyer with exemplary intellect and skills. The series is written by Choi Soo-jin and Choi Chang-hwan who both worked on the hit series Defendant.
One Thousand Won Lawyer won the Grand Prize at the 2015 SBS Screenplay Contest. It was supposed to air in 2016 but the similarity with then KBS 2TV series My Lawyer, Mr. Jo emerged. Thus, the project was temporarily shelved.
This year, the series finally proceeds into production with none other than chameleon actor Namgoong Min as the male lead.
Cameras will soon start rolling for the series with its goal to air in the second half of 2022.
