Channel A’s new weekend drama Positively Yours is teasing plenty of laughs, romance, and unexpected twists ahead of its January 17 premiere.
Based on a popular web novel and webtoon, the series follows a man and a woman who vowed never to marry — until a one-night stand turns their lives upside down.
Ahead of the premiere, character posters released on December 31 showcase the four leads against a backdrop of refreshing blues and vibrant pinks, highlighting each character’s unique charm and personality.
Choi Jin Hyuk stars as Kang Doo-joon, the handsome and somewhat lonely heir to Taehan Group. His poster hints at both excitement and responsibility with the line, “Are you the father of the child? Let’s do it. Love. Let’s do it properly.”
Oh Yeon Seo plays Jang Hee-won, a career-driven, single woman determined to avoid marriage. Her bold declaration — “I can say this for sure. There’s no marriage in this life” — teases the chaos her life may face after crossing paths with Doo-joon.
Hong Jong Hyun takes on Cha Min-wook, Hee-won’s best friend of 15 years, who reveals a softer side with a bouquet in hand and a heartfelt line: “Friendship… I guess it wasn’t. Looking back, there hasn’t been a single day I haven’t liked you.” His confession hints at shifting dynamics between long-time friends.
Kim Da Som shines as Hwang Mi-ran, Hee-won’s confident and forthright best friend, who boldly approaches Min-wook with: “Cha Min-wook, do you want to go out with me? Being affectionate is poison to me.”
The character trailer adds further flavor, highlighting the leads’ workaholic sides with lines like, “You should show your appreciation for your salary with performance” and “Just bring it to the next meeting, right? A shiny item.” While romance begins to stir between Doo-joon and Hee-won, Min-wook grows increasingly concerned about Doo-joon’s proximity, and Miran makes her intentions clear with charming confidence.
With teasing glances, witty lines, and romantic tension, Positively Yours promises a playful and heartfelt ride into love, friendship, and unexpected entanglements.
