What’s New In Season 2?

Acknowledging the huge love from viewers that led to a new season for the series, Director Min hopes to receive the same support. He introduces the series as a story of fated encounters between the dead and the living who help each other heal emotional pains.

“It’s a story of living people and souls meeting each other and solving each other’s problems together. It is a drama that I want you to watch seriously and have fun.”

The director is also confident and happy working with the cast.

“It’s a casting I’m really grateful for then and now. It’s the same on set. I really don’t want to break up. I don’t want to let go.”

Echoing the superb cast synergy, Go Soo affirms how comfortable the filming set is.

“It seems like we’ve gotten used to each other. We know each other so well that we can tell without looking where we’re standing, so we’re happy to be able to meet again. During season 1, there was a bit of time to explore. But for season 2, it was nice to be able to accept everything in a more comfortable way.”

Upon hearing this, Heo Joon Ho asked back, “Did you search for me?” – generating laughter from the cast and media present. He also shares his happiness in returning to the series he loves.

“Actually, I thought it would be difficult to do season 2 because of the viewership ratings or channel problems. I heard it received a lot of affection. Now, we hit each other because we love each other so much. I love it so much.”

Attuned to that, Ahn So Hee and Ha Jun also added that they were just happy to be able to return to the scene where they had so much fun and to be able to meet again.

New member Lee Jung Eun mirrors the happiness of the lead duo.

“I enjoyed watching ‘Missing’ Season 1. I am happy to be part of a project that was well-loved by the viewers. It was an honor to join because it was a project that was both fun and meaningful.”

Season 2’s Focal Message

If season 1 focused on unraveling the background and setting of the village where the missing dead gathered, season 2 will provide more interesting and rich stories, from the events involving the dead and the living to the story of each character, along with the existence of special and suspicious deaths.

Director Min asserts the message of hope in a desperate situation abounds in the series.

“If you’re desperate, it will come true. I hope that the stories of finding the dead can also be viewed as hope. Hopefully, it can inspire as long as we diligently work on it.”
