After his sweet performance in A Love So Beautiful, Kim Yo Han would once again venture to a new endearing drama character in School 2021.
Directed by Kim Min Tae and written by Dong Hee Seon along with Jo Ah Ra, the School series is back again with a different batch of students.
School 2021 threads on the lives of 18-year-old students going on a different route from the usual university entrance examination. Chasing dreams, forming friendships and embarking on a challenging journey, these teenagers stand on ambiguous grounds.
Kim Yo Han is joined by other actors such as Choo Yeong Wo, Jo Yi Hyun, Hwang Boreumbyeol, Kim Kang Min and Seo Hee Sun.
Kim Yo Han Becomes a Fresh Student With a Deep Wound
In School 2021, Kim Yo Han plays the character of Gong Ki Joon, a diligent student who knows how to handle work and school. However, he had a serious injury that affected his Taekwondo dream. With this, he continued to live as if nothing happened.
“”Gong Ki-joon is a grown-up person who doesn’t show anything on the outside even when it hurts. In addition, he is an attractive character with a bit of silliness and a little bit of arrogance. I think that he is similar to me in that he has done Taekwondo and has a sense of humor, but Ki-joon is a smarter kid than me,”” said Yo Han in terms of his similarity with his character
He also added that he sympathized with Ki-joon’s character to make his acting more expressive.
” “I am trying to empathize as much as possible with Gong Ki-joon’s situation and the various emotions that arise from it. I am trying to maximize the synchronization rate with the character,” Kim affirmed.
Moreover, Kim Yo Han also said in an interview that School 2021 would be loved by many viewers and that the drama is something that they can enjoy this fall.
“We are working hard to shoot the drama for the harvest of the work, and we hope that all actors and staff will add their efforts to produce good results,” added Yo Han
Meanwhile, School 2021 will release its pilot episode on November 17 at KBS2.
