The cast of Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha gathered for their first script reading full of enthusiasm and laughter.
Premiering this August, the upcoming rom-com series Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha held its first read-through.
In charge of overseeing the drama series is director Yoo Je Won. He worked on popular romantic and comical series such as Oh My Ghost, Tomorrow With You, and Hi Bye Mama.
Working with Yoo Je Won in the screenplay is Shin Ha Eun who penned, The Crowned Clown, Drama Stage – Anthology, and Argon.

Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha expects to bring laughter, romance, and healing to the viewers. It follows the story of a charming and intelligent dentist Yoon Hye Jin (Shin Min Ah).
When her life turns off course, she moves to Gongjin village to have a breather and give time for herself. Unexpectedly, she also found love and healing when she encountered Hong Do Shik (Kim Seon Ho).
The cast perfectly fits with their characters
In the recent gathering, director Yoo Je Won and writer Shin Ha Eun led the script reading. The lead cast Shin Min Ah, Kim Seon Ho, and Lee Sang Yi; quickly immerse into their characters.
Before starting the script reading, director Yoo Je Won announced, “I am honored and proud to be with the actors and staff gathered together.”
“I hope it can be a filming site that can give enjoyment and healing. I will do my best to keep the rules of quarantine and help everyone finish shooting in good health,” Director Yoo added.
Other than the lead cast, the supporting cast, Jo Han Chul, In Gyo Jin, Lee Bong Ryun, and other actors attended the site.
As Shin Min Ah starts, she loosened and transformed into a charming dentist, Yoon Hye Jin. She shows off her delicate and innocent aura that we know since her portrayal in My Girlfriend Is A Gumiho.

On the other hand, our Good Boy, Kim Seon Ho, becomes a “hero” in Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha. This rising actor also delivers his character into a three-dimensional character.
Kim Seon Ho gave us laughter and heart flutters in his portrayals in dramas Start-Up and Welcome to Waikiki 2. His unique and detailed performance expects to be seen and give birth to another notable character.
Lastly, Lee Sang Yi switches into a charismatic Star PD. In his script reading, he highlights his solid acting skills that enhance his portrayal. He portrayed his character with relaxed execution.
The perfect rom-com lineup completes with notable supporting actors. They also perfectly immerse their characters and adds more expectations for the series.
