As Nevertheless, concludes its realistic love story, Song Kang shares his finals words to those who cheered for the end game.
JTBC’s Nevertheless ended last Saturday different from the original story. Despite Nabi (Han So Hee) and Jae Eon’s (Song Kang) rocky relationship, fate connects them until the end.
Song Kang portrays Park Jae Eon, a campus crush who flirts but is afraid of commitment.
As he met Nabi, Song Kang’s character development changes in every episode. Thoughts about his character being manipulative and senseless about Nabi’s feelings spread on the internet.
Nevertheless, some audiences see Jae Eon’s efforts to change and be open about himself.
In the last episode, Nevertheless surprised viewers with Jae Eon’s memories. It only shows that Jae Eon’s love, at first sight, confused him with mixed emotions.
He did lack in expressing his feelings, but when Nabi made her realize these, he showed his feelings within his capabilities.
In Song Kang’s message, he did confess that he has regrets until the end. The actor shared, “This was finally the last shot. I’ve been very nervous. I’ve had a lot of things over the last three months.”
“Nevertheless, I think we’ve had so much fun shooting. So please watch more from now on. I will see you at the next work. Thank you!”
