After the horror and suspense of fighting savage monsters in the first season, Sweet Home Seasons 2 and 3 will continue to tell the unfinished story of Green Home’s survivors.
Sweet Home is a 10-episode apocalyptic horror series starring Song Kang (Forecasting Love and Weather), Lee Jin Wook (Voice 2), and Lee Si Young (Grid).
In the series, After the tragic death of his family, a suicidal teen moves into an apartment complex called Green Home. He scheduled his suicide at the end of the month and goes to bed.
Only to wake up in a world where floating monsters are about to sweep humanity. Residents in Green Home realize that they are trapped, surrounded by monsters in various forms.

A Peek At Returning and New Characters of Sweet Home Season 2
Moreover, original cast members Go Min Si (Youth of May) and Park Kyu Young will reunite with hit director Lee Eung Bok. Together with the newly confirmed cast members Yoo Oh Seong, Oh Jung Se, Kim Moo Yeol, and Jung Jin Young.
The date announcement poster features a dilapidated baseball stadium, serving as the backdrop for the upcoming season’s narrative. The main characters depart from the Green Home, the site of their previous monster battles, and are compelled to venture into the outside world. Survivors have gathered at what is left of the stadium and built a community, but they still cannot let their guard down. The evolving storyline promises heightened anticipation as the characters confront new dangers in different environments, where they have to fight against both external monsters and their own monstrous desires.
Song Kang returns as Hyun-su, who is shown in the date announcement trailer being taken to a mysterious location in a cage. Under the scrutiny of a voice claiming to have been waiting for him, Hyun-su determinedly asks what he needs to do. As survivors continue to grapple with the threat of monsterization and groups of monsters on a rampage, what can Hyun-su do? Is he indeed the savior who can save everyone from this nightmare?
Expect An Even More Thrilling Worldbuilding
To craft this unique narrative, which expands from the original webtoon, director Lee Eung-bok consulted with writer Kim Kanbi and had in-depth discussions about the hidden premises in the original webtoon and the expanded world-building in the upcoming season.
Piquing curiosity about the new stories, director Lee says,“It is going to be a full-fledged apocalyptic drama. While Season 1 portrayed tension and fear in the confined space of the Green Home, Season 2 will be set in an open space with the introduction of a whole new group of characters and monsters.”
Lee Jin Wook affirms, “This season will present a world that diverges from the original webtoon. As the world expands, there will be more to think about.”
Lee Si Young heightens the excitement for how the story will unfold, explaining, “A vastly sprawling world awaits the characters after they leave Green Home. Everyone will go through major changes.”
