Shin Hye Sun is stepping into one of her most intriguing roles yet in Netflix’s upcoming series The Art of Sarah, premiering February 13.
The Art of Sarah follows Sara Kim (Shin Hye Sun), a woman determined to become a “luxury item” herself—authentic or counterfeit be damned—and Moo-kyung (Lee Jun Hyuk), the man who relentlessly pursues the desire-filled world she inhabits.
Shin Hye Sun transforms into Sara Kim, a character who slips effortlessly between polished lies and elusive sincerity, crafting a mesmerizing portrait of someone whose truth is impossible to pin down.
The newly released stills spotlight Sara’s chameleon-like aura. One captures her in a plain uniform with a blank stare; another shows her glowing in jewels and couture, eyes soft and affectionate; and a third reveals a chillingly cold expression. Each image presents a completely different woman, teasing the layered life she’s hiding.
Sara Kim is introduced as the enigmatic CEO of an ultra-luxury brand catering to the top 0.1%. Her fame is unmatched—but everything about her is a mystery: name, age, background, even education. The stills suggest she’s lived multiple lives, and her sudden rise leaves everyone baffled, raising the stakes around her real identity and the secrets she’s guarding.
The Art of Sarah premieres on February 14 on Netflix!
