Based on a popular novel, the two actresses are billed to bring warmth to a new fantasy story.
The Mysterious Candy Store is a fantasy drama depicting the magical story of the cryptic candy store Jeoncheondang, where the mysterious owner Hong-ja sells wishes-granting sweets to the people who visit.
Director Park Bong-seop of The Uncanny Counter and Eve is in charge of the series.
In the drama, Ra Mi Ran breathes life into Hong-ja, the mysterious sweets shop owner of Jeoncheondang to show another acting transformation. Meanwhile, Lee Re plays the role of Yomi, the owner of Hwaangdang, a rival confectionery store in Jeoncheon-dang.
Taking turns, the lead stars share excitement about their upcoming project.

I imagined the mysterious sweets sold by Hong-ja granting the wishes of the customers. The Mysterious Candy Store is set to begin filming soon with the goal of airing in the second half of 2023.
