Meet the Characters: A Delicious Mix of Personalities
Kim Mi-kyung (Lee Sun Bin) – The “Spicy” Potato Enthusiast

Her personality is described as 70% fiery temperament, 10% patience, and 100% dedication to potatoes. She’s strong-willed, independent, and never backs down from a challenge. However, her life takes an unexpected turn when So Baek-ho arrives, threatening to disrupt everything she has worked for. With her sharp wit and fearless attitude, Mi-kyung is sure to keep viewers entertained with her hilarious reactions and emotional depth.
So Baek-ho (Kang Tae Oh) – The “Salty” Rule Follower
So Baek-ho is a man of principles who firmly believes that life should be lived by the book. He’s described as 10% human warmth, 80% discipline, and 100% charisma. With his neatly combed hair, perfectly tailored suits, and serious demeanor, he initially seems like the complete opposite of Mi-kyung. However, his world is turned upside down when he enters the Potato Research Institute, where things don’t always go according to plan. As he faces unexpected challenges and emotions he’s never experienced before, Baek-ho’s transformation will be one to watch.
Park Ki-se (Lee Hak Joo) – The “Truffle-Flavored” Wild Card
Park Ki-se is a master of survival and a smooth talker who knows how to navigate the business world. He is 0% lucky, 70% street-smart, and 100% confident. Once Mi-kyung’s ex, he suddenly reappears in her life, now with a mysterious aura and a cryptic message: “I’m not the Park Ki-se you knew.” His presence adds another layer of tension and intrigue, making viewers curious about his true motives and how his past connection with Mi-kyung will unfold.
Lee Ong-ju (Kim Ga Eun) – The “Sweet Cheese” Romantic
Lee Ong-ju is the definition of a hopeless romantic, seeing the world through rose-colored glasses. She believes in unconditional love and describes life as a romance novel. With her playful personality, sharp intuition, and witty humor, she becomes the perfect cupid for those around her. As a popular web novelist, her creativity often leads to over-the-top ideas about love, adding a comedic twist to the story. Her role in guiding Mi-kyung’s love life—and possibly finding romance of her own—will be a key highlight.
Kim Hwan-gyeong (Shin Hyun Seung) – The “Onion” Softie
Unlike his headstrong sister Mi-kyung, Kim Hwan-gyeong is all about positivity, optimism, and lightheartedness. He has zero fighting power but makes up for it with his cheerful nature and ability to lift people’s spirits. He tends to get caught up in unpredictable situations, often bringing unintentional comedic moments. Despite being a bit of a troublemaker, his unwavering belief that “good things happen to good people” adds a heartwarming element to the drama.
