Nearing its premiere date, the mystery-thriller drama The Silent Sea rounded up the introduction of the main cast.
Set in the future, when food and water are scarce, elite members who are tasked on a special mission embark to the moon to see an abandoned lunar research facility with only a 10% chance of survival rate.
On the 9th, Netflix released photo stills of Lee Joon, Lee Mu Saeng, Kim Sun Young and Lee Seong Wook wearing their space uniform are all seen already probing the moon.

In the first photo, Lee Joon wears a complete space gear showing his side profiles. It is also seen in the background that he was already on the moon. Executive producer Jung Woo Sung also commend Lee Joon for his exemplary acting skills.

Kim would play the role of Hong Dak, a person who would always help her colleague when they are in danger. She also helps Dr. Song Ji-an (Bae Doo Na) in finding the secret lock in the research base.

Next, Lee Mu Saeng who holds a flashlight gave a strong aura to his audience. The actor has completely assimilated with the character through endless research, firmly strengthened his character. He plays Gong Soo-hyuk, the head of the security team, and never loses composure when doing special missions.

Lastly, Lee Seung Wook, who has been active in movies Collectors, Samjin Company English Class and Hit and Run Squad, has transformed into the pilot Kim Sun. He is the mood maker of the expedition. He brings in energy at the right place and adds fun and tension.”
The thrilling-mystery drama The Silent Sea would have a total of eight episodes. The first episode would be released on December 24 on Netflix.
