The Silent Sea follows an elite team deployed on a special mission to an abandoned research base on the moon when natural resource depletion devastated the Earth in the year 2075.

First, a spaceship is bound to the moon with its elite crew crash-landed owing to a gas problem, the mission is in great danger from the beginning.
After escaping from a spaceship that was barely hanging on the edge of a cliff, they reached the Balhae base through the infinite silence that spread across the moon’s barren surface.
Along with the sense of urgency induced from her heavy breathing, Song Ji-an’s line, “The probability that the entire crew will survive is less than 10%,” piques interest in the mysteries that lurk within the closed research base.
Subsequently, Han Yun-jae and Song Ji-an conversing, “Do you think there is something in this?” and “Answer,” indicates that something has occurred there prior to their arrival.
