“The Veil ” Planning Director Confirms 2-Episode Spin-Off Starring Park Ha Sun

Park Ha Sun The Veil

For all fans of The Veil who yearn for Park Ha Sun’s character’s closure, the production team drops a surprise gift for us!

Consistently thrilling fans with its superb story each week, The Veil preps for its last four episodes. It narrates the story of the best field agent of National Intelligent Service who went missing for a year. When he returns, he tracks the traitor who has been causing chaos in the organization.

Orchestrating the series is director Kim Sung Yong who worked on My Healing Love and Flowers of the Prison. The screenplay is written by Park Seo-ho, the winner of MBC drama script competition. Portraying the main leads are Namgoong Min, Kim Ji Eun and Park Ha Sun.

In response to the viewers’ complaint of Seo Su-yeon’s character development, Director Hong from the production team announced great news. Park Ha Sun’s character died in the sixth episode, shocking viewers.

He relays that Park’s character is originally designed for the role of a “game-changer” who eventually takes a shocking turning point. Further expounding the difficulty of casting reliable actors, he revealed Su-yeon’s role was the hardest to cast.

He continued, “Fortunately, Park Ha Sun accepted the role because he did not dwell on the role and sympathized with the importance of her character in the series. As a planner, I am very grateful.”

He also pitches relevant information about Su-yeon’s back story.

“Seo Su-yeon has a unique history of going through an unusual environment, becoming a reporter and joining the National Intelligence Service. Although she herself was not a suitable person for NIS work, she is a character who endures and uses evil for the purpose she wants. However, in the end, she is also a character with a tragic side that gradually collapses. She is also a person who reveals a lot.”

Promising more hidden stories, Moebius unfolds the story focusing on psychological thriller among agents.

Director Hong also did not forget to thank the viewers who loved The Veil, which is running to the end with only 4 episodes left, along with expectations for Moebius.

“While planning the drama, there were parts that got a good response as expected, and there were parts that fell short of that. The final work for the remaining two weeks of broadcasting is in full swing. We are doing our best to live up to the expectations of our viewers.  Both the production crew and the actors are preparing so that viewers will feel that they have completed a good drama when they watched the last episode of ‘Black Sun’. We ask for your interest and love until the very end.”
