It’s hard not to keep tabs on the male leads of Woori The Virgin!
Equally brimming with charisma, Sung Hoon and Shin Dong Wook are set to enter a love triangle with Im Soo Hyang when Woori The Virgin begins airing.
Woori The Virgin is a romantic comedy-drama based on the hit American show Jane The Virgin. Accordingly, the Korean remake follows Oh Woo Ri (Im Soo Hyang) as she maintains her premarital purity and encounters an unexpected pregnancy with Cosmetics Group CEO Raphael (Sung Hoon).
Im Soo Hyang portrays Oh Woo Ri, she has been dating Lee Kang Jae (Shin Dong Wook) for two years. Also, she works as an assistant writer for a popular makjang drama.
Subsequently, character photos and quick character sketches have been released to acquaint the viewers with the male leads.
Sung Hoon as Raphael
Cold-hearted and chic, Raphael becomes the biological father of Woori’s son in an unexpected accident. Presenting a “male god” visual in the released images, he exudes the signature demeanor of a sophisticated businessman.
The actor is expected to show his romantic side when he meets the person he loves, and he aspires to be happy with her.
Shin Dong Wook as Lee Kang-jae
Meanwhile, Shin Dong Wook portrays Lee Kang-jae who is infinitely pure when it comes to love. Supportive of his girlfriend’s goal of premarital chastity decision, he is an honest homicide detective with principles and conscience.
Parading a mesmerizing look with his expressive visual and sweet smile. Giving off a refreshing feel, his synergy with Woori aims to enrich the series. He is expected to present an interesting portrayal of a romantic detective who would do anything for his girlfriend.
With totally different appeals and personalities, Sung Hoon and Shin Dong Wook aim to present a memorable romance story.
