Teaming up for a black comedy with renowned production company A-Story; Yoon Kye Sang slates his 2023 drama return.

유괴의 날 Day of Kidnapping (LT) is a black comedy about a special collaboration between a socially awkward kidnapper and an 11-year-old genius girl. It is based on the novel of the same name by Jung Hae-yeon.
Helming the series is Director Park Yoo-young, whose recent work participation includes A Model Family, Love Alarm 2 and Kingdom Season 1. Penning the script is writer Kim Jae-young of Wonderful Nightmare, Come See Me and Cheese in the Trap fame.
Backing up the production is A-Story with popular works including Extraordinary Attorney Woo, Big Mouth, and Kingdom Seasons 1 and 2.
In the drama, Yoon Kye Sang plays Kim Myung-joon, a rookie kidnapper who abducts a young girl so he can pay for his daughter’s hospital bills.
Caught in an unexpected incident, he is pursued as a murder suspect. But having a weak personality, he works with the genius girl he took for a delightful pursuit of the truth.
