Ahn Bo Hyun Transforms Into a Charming Gaming Developer in tvN’s “Yumi’s Cells”

In tvN’s Yumi’s Cells, Ahn Bo Hyun becomes an honest man that would awaken the love cell of Yumi.

Yumi’s Cells came from the Naver original webtoon with the same title that became popular because of its unique storyline about cells.

The webtoon came to life under the direction of Lee Sang Yeob and writers Song Jae Jung along with Kim Yoon Joo. 

Yumi’s Cells revolves around the story of our main character, Yumi (Kim Go Eun), whose love-cell fell into a coma because of a failed relationship.

However, Ku-Woong (Ahn Bo Hyun) came into her life and tries to wake up the sleeping love cell of Yumi.


Ahn Bo Hyun’s Captivating Yet Strong Looks

Teaser photo of Ahn Bo Hyun as Ku-woong gave its’ viewers a sneak peek of what to expect in his character. 

Wearing a cute blue shirt and a sweet smile, we can anticipate that he would melt down the barriers of the sleeping love cell of Yumi.

In the other photo, sitting on his gaming chair, he looks sturdy and strong with his sharp eyes. The contradiction between his looks excites the viewers on what kind of Ahn Bo Hyun would show.

Moreover, adding dimension to his character, Ku-Woong is sketched as an engineering student who thinks logically. Thus, he just chooses between “Yes” or “No.” He’s also a little bit cold-hearted, simple yet frank. 

In an interview, Ahn Bo Hyun defines Ku-woong as pure and honest.

“He is a straightforward man who only looks at a woman and thinks about what he likes.”

He also described the features of Ku-Woong such as long hair, a beard, and a dark skin tone that viewers can expect.

Yumi’s Cells is released in a new format with a combination of live-action and 3D animation for the cute cells that control Yumi.
