A Good Day To Be A Dog Episode 4 Highlights
Armed with a yellow umbrella, Seo-won covered him and Hae-na and successfully evaded Chae-ah. However, the instant knight in shining armor, unfortunately, has abysmal driving skills. Fortunately, they were able to arrive on time and Seo-won was able to render a congratulatory song for the couple.
After the wedding, Seo-won got dragged by Chae-ah who said she had an urgent thing to do. Ever the kindhearted, he decides to drive her to Seoul since there will be no available bus. Celebrating inwardly, Chae-ah later realizes Seo-won is terrible on wheels.
She pushes her luck to have dinner with him but he politely declines discerning her lies. Bo-gyeom and Hae-na also had a quiet time at the beach as he shared his fascination with the moon’s gravitational pull that causes the water tides to move. Somehow, it holds a deeper meaning.
Meanwhile, Yu-na and Woo-taek meet Yul asserting he should keep Hae-na’s secret. In the process, they gave details about the curse.
Because of that, during a teacher-student session, Yul cutely questions his teacher and learns about the kiss that triggered the curse. He offers help so she can have a chance to kiss his uncle.
“Why is the curse so detailed?”
Forcing his uncle to sleep, Yul brings Hae-na to execute the curse-breaking plan. However, after the kiss, Hae-na did not transform. Theories are discussed by the sisters and even their mom scour the family’s records but could not find an answer.
Later, Hae-na and Seo-won had a chat about his fear of dogs. It was hinted that he had a bad experience when he was young with a vicious dog. He also opens up about how he cannot freely express his emotions.
Pondering how she can help Seo-won, Hae-na proposes to help him overcome his fear. They did it in baby steps with side commentaries from Haena about dog behaviors.
Slowly, Seo-won settled comfortably into the program Hae-na designed. While resting at a park though, a big dog escapes his leash heading to dog-magnet Hae-na and cynophobic Seo-won. Hae-na quickly moves and covers them with a jacket.
A Good Day To Be A Dog Episode 4 Musings
Let’s hope Woo-taek’s ideas take the spotlight on the problem of the sisters so they can try if mutual love is a necessary ingredient for the curse to be lifted.
On the bright side, we can see the romantic direction heads to that anyway.
There’s really a great chance that “love” is a key element that would unlock the mystery of the curse.
Bo-gyeom’s cryptic words are starting to shape up and it involves their past lives. Is he immortal? Does he remember his past lives?
The way his story unfolds so far leans to a test of patience. Actually, the series as a whole is giving that vibe.
Along the way, viewers can anticipate more side stories and issues to be tackled in this drama.
This episode in particular shares a beautiful yet sad message about alienation. Seo-won’s confession of how he hopes he can express his emotions well.
It springs from his past trauma left unattended. Because of that, he became guarded.
Hopefully, his interaction with Hae-na provides a healing to his deeply entrenched pain.
