A Good Day To Be A Dog Episode 3 Highlights

Previously, Hae-na went to the police station to attend to Yul’s concern after encountering the bullies.

She unfortunately loses track of time and transforms into her dog form right before Yul’s eyes. Hae-na ends up staying at Yul’s place which he shares with his uncle who turns out to be Seo-won.

Surprised to see an awkward situation, Yul and Hae-na team up to answer Seo-won’s interrogation.

The next day, Hae-na has the chance to help out Seo-won when a dog is brought into the school by Vice Principal Yoo. She pretends to have a dog allergy knowing Seo-won is scared of dogs.

“You won’t tell my secret, right?”

Finally, Hae-na gets a chance to speak with Yul and gets reassurance that he will keep her secret. She finds it hard to believe that Yul seems okay with his discovery. Yul in fact, wants to play with him when she transforms again.

Unknown to Hae-na, their co-teacher Chae-ah, saw them during the weekend. She also confronts Hae-na who is worried thinking her secret dog identity is what she was talking about when in fact Chae-ah thought she was in a relationship with Seo-won. Hae-ina is relieved that she won’t be spilling that secret since it will damage Seo-won.

Interestingly, Man-deuk, the dog temporarily staying at the faculty’s office finds itself gravitating to Seo-won. For all those times that he was cornered by the dog, Hae-na came to rescue him.

At night, Seo-won bumps into Hae-na at a cake shop. He later gives her chocolate Vento cakes which she isn’t able to eat since it can be dangerous to her dog persona. He also thanks her for saving him all day owing to his strange aversion to dogs.

When marriage news came for their fellow teachers, Hae-na and Seo-won ended up buying the gift for the wedding.

Seo-won also offers his passenger seat to an upcoming school trip after learning that Hae-na is uncomfortable when she rides a bus long distance.

But Chae-ah who was out shopping saw them and decided to break their plan by offering a carpool with Bo-gyum.

On the day of the field trip though, Bo-gyum paved the way for a private time between Hae-na and Seo-won. Seeing Chae-ah at the park, he uses an umbrella to evade her and goes in close proximity to Hae-na.

A Good Day To Be A Dog Episode 3 Musings

We see glimpses of Seo-won possibly and secretly admiring Hae-na all along in this episode of A Good Day To Be A Dog. Also, Bo-gyum appearing to be a secret cupid at least can assure viewers of the focus of the love story. He is hinted to possess something extraordinary and we hope more details to be divulged in the future.

To be honest, one episode per week makes the flow of the drama potentially dragging. On the bright side, we don’t think Hae-na will have a hard time with her mission since Seo-won could be smitten by her already.

Most likely, there will be no misplaced problems along the way. It’s up to how the romance would develop between the main leads.

There could be miscommunication since Seo-won perceives Hae-na likes Bo-gyum and the latter might know Seo-won is into Hae-na. Let’s hope Bo-gyum has his own story to tell in the series that won’t interfere with the romantic projection of the narrative.

Support Hae-na as she breaks the curse through the help of Seo-won in A Good Day To Be A Dog. International fans can watch it on Viu!
