A Good Day To Be A Dog Episode 7 Highlights
After the school trip, Hae-na and Seo-won got even closer. However, they are not aware that Haena’s sister’s old evil ex-boyfriend has posted a story that Seo-won’s old bully schoolmate caught.
He pays him a visit but Seo-won is not too happy with their reunion especially when he shows a picture of him and Hae-na together.
“I don’t want Hae-na to feel insecure. A while ago, she said no man could possibly like her. But I completely disagree. She has a warm heart. She’s funny and cute. She certainly deserves to be loved.”
Giving her daughters a surprise visit, Hae-na’s mom demands to know who Hae-na is dating. Yu-na commissions Yul to pretend to be her sister’s boyfriend and gets a touching pep talk and requests to be understanding of their situation.
Yul responds that Hae-na is a beautiful person who deserves to be adored. His openness though led to an overnight stay from Hae-na’s mother to break the curse. So, Hae-na comes clean about who is Yul really is.
Learning about Seo-won’s birthday, Hae-na tags along with Yul and Seo-won’s family date. As the birthday celebration progresses, Yul feels the third wheel in what seems to be a birthday date of his uncle to his girl. Taking the cue, he proposes to leave time for them to be alone.
“No Matter what your color is, I’m sure you’ll look pretty.”
Both wanting to say something to each other, they try to open up your thoughts but they keep hesitating. In the end, Hae-na is too tipsy to bring up her other identity. Voicing out her woes which Seo-won can’t understand, he reassures her that she will still be pretty when she hints about what her true color is.
Seo-won’s former bully classmate is keen to uncover the secret of Hae-na’s family and convinces Sang-soo, Yuna’s evil ex-boyfriend to reveal the secret through an interview. His desire was further amplified when Seo-won paid him a visit and warned him not to show his face at the school again. He also set up a spy camera at the vet clinic to aid in the story he’s developing.
Hae-na plans to meet Seo-won to honestly confess her problem since she only has 10 days left to lift the curse. Facing each other on a crosswalk, Seo-won saw a cryptic guy approaching Hae-na, he rushed to protect her and she fell into a trance in his embrace.
A Good Day To Be A Dog Episode 7 Musings
Expected romance is building up in the latest side conflict of A Good Day To Be A Dog. Despite the patient storytelling of the series that might not sit well with viewers who like fast-paced storylines, the series is honestly doing a great job in its neat narration.
Crossing the middle mark of the story, this arc could last two or more episodes before it wraps up the main conflict involving Teacher Lee and the shaman girl.
Hae-na’s predicament of feeling apprehensive owing to her secret identity somehow sheds light on how people opt to think little of themselves because of a weakness or a quality that is not deemed normal. Yul’s words also encourage us never to feel undeserving of someone’s love.
Kim Min Seok’s special appearance is sure a testament to his versatility as an actor. His short stint as a villain is a game-changer bringing tension to the story just when it needed a necessary shake-up.
