Adamas Episode 11 and 12 Highlights
“Who knows? Maybe if you disarm it, you’ll kill everyone else but yourself once again.”
Mr. Lee finally came face to face with the only witness of his crime 22 years ago, Kim Seo-hee. Together with Sun, Mr. Lee made the reporter wear an explosive vest and go to the SIH building to threaten the investigators. They want Seo-hee to take the blame for the horrendous event that might take place anytime soon.
Mr. Kang of SIH makes sure that Seo-hee will be safe after knowing her current status.
“Let’s be patient, Ms. Kwon said she prepared a surprise.”
In the mansion, Ha Woo-shin, Mr. Choi, and Dong-rim proceed with their plan to steal the Adamas. But as they thought things were going smoothly, shocking events one after the other happened.
First Song Su-hyun went to the party and made a scene. Second, Woo-shin again failed to get the Adamas and instead saw a newspaper about Lee Chang-woo’s case in the chairman’s office. Lastly, Ms. Kwon surprised everyone with her sudden speech.
Ms. Kwon reveals the Adamas and exposes the truth of it being a murder weapon used by Chairman Kwon. She knew Lee Chang-woo was innocent. She despises the chairman in contrast to the affection she showed him in the past.
“I can’t let her die.”
Song Su-hyun briefly talked to his brother, Woo-shin, but as soon as he knew what was happening to Seo-hee he quickly went outside the mansion.
In the SIH building, police taught they disarmed the bomb, but apparently, the detonator was not for the vest but rather a remote control for another explosive.
After a call by Song Su-hyun, they realized the target was not inside the building but outside, who is revealed to be candidate Hwang Byung-chul. Luckily, he survived because of Song Su-hyun.
“Go bring the real Adamas. Your father knows where it is. Got that?”
In the police station, Mr. Lee met Woo-shin and crushed in front of him the fake Adamas. He then orders the writer to bring him the original diamond arrow that his father, Lee Chang-woo, hides.
Meanwhile in the mansion, Mr. Kwon and Hye-soo seem to have been planning something behind. It feels like Hye-soo is on Mr. Kwon’s side.
After the incident, Sun goes to the Haesong mansion after being summoned by Mr. Kwon. Hyun-jo then knew that Mr. Kwon did not want to kill Chang-woo to find the real Adamas.
“I was betrayed.”
Looking back, Lee Chang-woo wanted to quit his job in Team A, and Mr. Kwon let him, but Chang-woo stayed in prison for 15 years. Mr. Kwon felt betrayed after knowing that Chang-woo stole the Adamas.
Mr. Kwon was the one who lured Woo-shin to enter the palace in search of the real Adamas. He planned it all along. He gave Ha Woo-shin two days to find the Adamas, and if he failed to do so, Mr. Kwon would kill Song Su-hyun.
Agitated Hyun-jo, who got scolded by his father, then bluntly revealed to Hye-soo that he was the one who killed Min-jo.
“I will be your defense attorney.”
After Hye-soo knew that Mr. Kown was the reason why Hyun-jo killed Min-jo, she was ready to avenge him. She visits Ms. Kwon to ask for help and information about Mr. Kwon.
Hye-soo then tries to be one of Chairman Kwon’s people, but she has to bargain to join. She meets Ha Woo-shin and orders him to bring the Adamas, and in return, she will save Lee Chang-woo.
Meanwhile, Song Su-hyun went to the prosecutor’s office to give his resignation letter and proceeded to visit Lee Chang-woo in prison. Su-hyun became Lee Chang-woo’s defense attorney, for he already knew he was his father.
Adamas Episode 11 and 12 Musings
Adamas continues to intensify as the series nears to end. Viewers may feel their frustrations with the countless failures of Woo-shin to get the Adamas, but what could surprise them is Ms. Kwon’s exposing the truth about Mr. Kwon’s ill-doings as the chairman of Haesong.
On the other hand, Sun seems to have a bad relationship with her sister, Ms. Yoon. Viewers may also anticipate some background story of this sketchy ace of Team A in the following episodes.
Meanwhile, Hye-soo, who seems to be on Mr. Kwon’s side, currently wants to get revenge because of Min-jo’s death.
These episodes show the bravery of the characters despite the dreadful events that never seem to end.
But now that Song Su-hyun knows that Lee Chang-woo is his biological father, what will be his next step? Will he be able to defend his father as an attorney?
