Agency Episode 5 and 6 Highlights

“A Candle is Brighter than the Sun when it’s Dark.”

The tension between Go Ah-in and Kang Han-na was already high at the close of the last episode, and it only continues to escalate from there.

Han-na experiences an emotional trigger when Ah-in attracted her attention, causing her to respond rashly. Nonetheless, her right-hand man, Park Young-woo, is quite the polar opposite.

Because of Mr. Park, Han-na was able to think more logically, and she eventually shares her thoughts with her grandfather (Kang Geun-chul). The conversation between the two was constructive, and Han-na picks up a lot of useful advice.

“Don’t be jealous of your servant; Observe her well.”

Meanwhile, Han Byung-soo, Choi Chang-soo, and Kwon Woo-chul were all in an elevator scenario. Byung-soo is being manipulated into choosing between them and Go Ah-in. But Byung-soo maintained composure and does his best to treat them kindly regardless of the circumstances.

Moreover, Byung-soo and Ah-in talk about the chaos at VC Group Company. However, Ah-in reassures Byung-soo that she was making more prudent decisions at every turn.

After the heated exchange between Han-na and Ah-in, the latter visits the director’s office. Through the use of her cleverness, she offers Han-na a suggestion that would be entirely beneficial to her.

“This is a give-and-take situation, no one is trying to be more than the other”

Han-na then goes to the interview that Ah-in had set up for her. Ah-in knew that Choi Chang-soo and Kwon Woo-chul were planning a rally against her. Massive chaos unfolded in the lobby of the VC Group Company, where numerous derogatory posters were prominently displayed.

It appears that Han-na has become entangled in the conflict between Go Ah-in and Choi Chang-soo in the next episode. Advertising agencies face a thorny situation with the VC Group Company’s new leadership under Ah-in. Despite Chang-soo’s strategy, he was no match for Ah-in as she employs this tactic to foil his schemes.

The level of tension between the characters rises a notch up. Before breaking up in the lobby, everyone had met at CEO Jo’s office to try to work out the cause of the discord.

While Han-na was struggling to control her emotions, she learns more about the circumstance thanks to the support of her personal assistant (Park Young-woo), and now she knows what steps to take.

A call comes in from the Woowon firm at the same time as the disturbance, and Ah-in answers it. This is the catalyst that sets everything in motion dramatically. Ah in’s job security depends on this deal, therefore she and Yoo Jung-suk conducted their customary in-depth analysis.
