Juggling her roles as a pretend-girlfriend and a diligent employee, Shin Ha-ri sorted her priorities well in the fourth episode of Business Proposal.
President Kang’s frigid heart gradually melts away over time because of his persistence in spending his time with Shin Ha-ri. Thanks to our cupid grandfather, the lead pairing is still on its way to making their fake relationship into something real.

Business Proposal Episode 4 Key Moments
“I can take care of myself, Min-woo. So take care of your girlfriend now, instead of your friend.”
Having Min-woo as their team’s head chef, Ha-ri was supposed to present their dish at the tasting event. Instead, she hides from facing President Kang. Tasting the dish prepared by team one, Tae-mu is impressed by the white kimchi ravioli that Lee Min-woo made.
Conversing with Min-woo at M Kitchen, Ha-ri assures him that the food he prepared was really delicious. Meanwhile, Min-woo suddenly inquires about her feedback on the concert she attended and whether she joined the event alone.
Ha-ri consequently tells him that he should focus his attention on his girlfriend, as she is capable of taking care of herself. Also, she informs him that she went to the concert with a guy.
Visiting M Kitchen, Min-woo welcomes his guest into the restaurant. Kang Tae-mu wanted to see for himself Min-woo’s food since he was even more intrigued by Chef Lee’s cooking.
Noticing President Kang entering the restaurant, Ha-ri quickly hides her real identity from him again. She then steps outside to respond to Min-woo’s call and spots Young-seo waiting in the car for her.
Back at the restaurant, while Min-woo is calling Ha-ri, Tae-mu hears a similar ringback tone and it reminds him of the same song every time he calls his girlfriend.
Inquiring about the meal Min-woo prepared for him, Tae-mu understands why Shin Ha-ri says that his food tastes cheerful and happy. He subsequently asks if they have been only friends for a long time.
Apologizing for his personal queries, Tae-mu thinks that maybe one of them could’ve developed feelings apologizes since Ha-ri and he had known each other for such a long time.
“Would it kill you to exchange pleasantries first? How have you been? How’s your eye doing? And so on.”
While traveling on a business trip, Shin Ha-ri and her team went to shoot their product. Considering their company prohibits employees from using their phones during work hours, Ha-ri keeps her phone inside her bag.
Along with shooting their product, Chairman Kang unexpectedly visits the location where Shin Ha-ri and her team are. Given that she was hiding her true identity from the Chairman, Ha-ri had a ridiculous encounter with him.
Apart from that, Tae-mu keeps calling Ha-ri to see if she is available for dinner with him tonight. Whereas, Ha-ri asks him promptly as to what his call is about. Tae-mu then asks her whether it wouldn’t be better if they exchanged pleasantries first, such as how she’s been and how her eye is doing.
When he inquires as to whether she is aware of the upcoming Saturday’s date, Ha-ri informs him that it is their fake one-year anniversary.
“What’s with the cliché lines and vibe? I think you’ve seen way too many TV shows.”
Before having dinner in celebration of their one-year anniversary, Kang Tae-mu brings Ha-ri to an expensive clothing store. He asks the staff to collect all the clothing for Ha-ri to try on.
Finding his cliché line and vibe, Ha-ri believes that Tae-mu has been watching way too many TV shows. However, that was the only way to assuage his grandfather’s doubts about their relationship and convince him that they were truly together.
Following the clothes try-on, both of them go for dinner and even experience a funny situation in which Ha-ri’s clothes are ripped from the back and Tae-mu tries to cover her back so that no one can see it.
Business Proposal Episode 4 Musings
Appearing as strong as ever, as if her heart hadn’t recently been broken, Shin Ha-ri amazes us with her ability to be a strong, independent woman who doesn’t need Min-woo to care for her in Business Proposal. Making us cheer for her and comfort her that she doesn’t need a man like him and deserves so much better, such as being with President Kang.
Likewise, we cannot help but feel our hearts flutter as Tae-mu’s coldheartedness just slowly but surely fades away for Shin Ha-ri.
In this chapter, it is fully demonstrated to us that he moves all his important business schedules, visits her to check on her eye condition, and even provides her with some medications for a speedy recovery, as well as his genuine smiles whenever he is reminded of Shin Ha-ri.
This just shows he is madly falling for Ha-ri and that he is clearly whipped for her as he sees Ha-ri trying on the white apparel.
Besides that, there are other indications that Shin Ha-ri and Shin Geum-hui are the same, which he learned after attempting to return Ha-ri’s wallet and discovering that she was posing as someone else again. Tae-mu would almost certainly revert to his heartless ways as a result of the truth he knew about Ha-ri.
Apparently, we can expect an irate Archaeopteryx Tae-mu to appear next week since he is aware that Geum-hui is Shin Ha-ri. We can safely anticipate that the forthcoming episodes of Business Proposal will be chaotic but delightful in some way.
