Crash Course In Romance Episode 9 Highlights
Giving back to the family of his savior, Chi-yeol upgraded his treatment with Nam family.
However, All Care moms led by Su-a’s mom learned about Hae-yi’s private tutorial session and stormed to Nam family’s house to catch Chi-yeol in the act.
“You have a tendency to fix everything. Try fixing that. It’s taking a toll on not only you but those around you.”
Calmly handling the situation, Chi-yeol asked the moms to go with him to the office to talk. He explains he did not do anything wrong as the tutorial sessions are on his free time and is free. He adds that the materials he used are all mine and not from the program.
Worried Haeng-seon crashes the meeting to claim it was her fault so Chi-yeol had to bring her out and assures her that he can take care of the situation.
However, the situation blows out of proportion when Su-a’s mom uses her influencer status to post a blind item about Haeng-seon and Chi-yeol.
Implying she used her body in exchange for the lessons when she was already married; the online bullying also draws attention to another influencer who visited Nam’s side dish store and showed Haeng-seon’s face.
“I have feelings for this woman.”
At school, Hae-yi also becomes a subject of mockery even making Sun-jae and Gun-woo engaged in a fight to defend her. Sadly, she can’t get her voice to clarify that her mother is in reality her aunt because of a previous incident in the past that made her feel like an outcast by telling her closest friend that she’s an orphan.
Jae-woo also gets hospitalized after the trouble caused by the influencer. Upon learning what happened, Chi-yeol goes to the hospital and gives Haeng-seon a chance to eat while driving and take a quick nap.
Bringing up their situation, Chi-yeol told Haeng-seon that Hae-yi’s tutorial will end along with her lunch box deliveries.
Going on with their respective daily lives, Haeng-seon chances upon Chi-yeol’s scheduled admission talk and went to attend it.
During the Q&A portion, Chi-yeol was directly asked about his recent scandal. But when the two moms argue that it was Haeng-seon’s fault, she got the cue that she needs to leave the place.
Chi-yeol who noticed her right away reveals that Haeng-seon did nothing wrong and that he’s the one with feelings for her.

That was such a sweet confession from Chi-yeol in the 9th episode of Crash Course In Romance. But since the subject of his devotion has a savior complex, it will take him more convincing if he is keen to start a real relationship with her.
Showing the disheartening extent overachieving mothers can do out of selfishness for their children was also emphasized in this episode, and hopefully, it brings enlightenment to the people targeted in this message. Along with that, the disappointing implication of the “cancel culture” that has truly flourished because of the double-edged power of social media was also harped on.
A call on social media influencers’ proper assessment of what content to put was also highlighted by asserting not to take advantage of people’s misfortune. These days when social media influencers hold power, it is a significant message that hopefully, reaches them.
We’re happy to see some bromance brewing between Sun-jae and Gun-woo; and how this time Jae-yi has found a true friend in Dan-ji.
