In the previous episode, Lee Jin-geun appeared again after Da-hyun confessed to the police that he’s been stalking her. As Da-hyun was about to return home from the library, Jin-geun tried to hurt her again and spilled words that she didn’t remember.
Jin-geun was able to control his anger for being provoked by Da-hyun. He then left after ‘helping’ Da-hyun to remember her memories and also left her with fear.
“I don’t want to look for my sister if it means you’ll be in danger.”
Furthermore, Gye-hoon felt Da-hyun’s fear from afar and hurriedly went to the library. Before he arrived, she finally had the courage to protect herself by calling the police officers after the incident with Jin-geun.
As Gye-hoon walked Da-hyun to her house, he made sure that she was fine but then saw a bruise on her neck where Jin-geun strangled her. With that, she felt guilty about how he looked after her knowing that she might be involved with Gye-young’s death.
Da-hyun then confessed to Gye-hoon that she was with her sister on the day she disappeared. However, she received an unexpected reaction from him.
Instead of blaming her, Gye-hoon was worried that she will be in danger of being involved with her sister and Jin-geun. Nevertheless, Da-hyun continues to investigate by herself and find out more about her nightmares.
“He used to follow me around all the time when we were kids.”
Eun Gye-hoon and Noh Da-hyun spent the day in the market to buy rare ingredients for his new food recipes. Additionally, police officers Hwang Min-joo and Ji Won-tak visited Gye-hoon’s restaurant to talk about Jin-geun’s case and also to test his new recipes.
Now that Gye-hoon and Won-tak continue to open up with each other, Da-hyun and Min-joo notice their change of personal interaction. Gye-hoon then revealed how close they are when they were little, whereas Won-tak tries to deny it.
Furthermore, the two made a short conversation outside the restaurant and show their appreciation for one another with a simple “thank you.” Additionally, Gye-hoon finds more inspiration to cook since he wants to treat Won-tak with fine meals as a way to catch up with his childhood friend.
“I’ll tell you everything to want to hear, Eun Gye-hoon.”
The next day, Gye-hoon celebrates his birthday while remembering his twin sister. Also, he visited her mother and prepared simple meals for the two of them.
Despite being mentally ill, Gye-hoon’s mother allowed his son to spend his special day the way he wanted it to be and not spend celebrating his birthday by taking care of her.
Da-hyun forgot about Gye-hoon’s birthday but suddenly remembered it when she entered the restaurant’s passcode. To make up for him, they celebrated Gye-hoon and Gye-young’s day by walking around the park while conversing.
However, the two don’t have any idea that Lee Jin-geun is stalking them and find out that Gye-hoon is celebrating his birthday. Before the day ends, the villain decides to give Gye-hoon a surprise gift.
He confesses that he helped a man to lure Gye-young into the house with a red gate in exchange for a toy he wanted when he was a kid. Moreover, Gye-hoon becomes furious knowing that a life was taken away because of a petty reason.
Along with his confession, Jin-geun also revealed that he lured Da-hyun on the same day in exchange for a game cartridge.

Lee Jin-geun has finally spoken! The moment we are thrilled to uncover has been unveiled. Yet, the revelations have exceeded our expectations and are hard to believe.
Considering that Jin-geun was still a child when he became an accessory to the crime, it’s difficult not to blame. Furthermore, the man manipulated him into thinking that he will have a reward and he is doing a good deed.
Nevertheless, we saw how Jin-geun, in the present, shows no remorse for what he did. Instead, he boasted about it and played with the feelings of those people who are affected.
On the other hand, Da-hyun conquers her fears and remembered that she was with Gye-young in the same house. Let’s hope that Da-hyun doesn’t have to do with Gye-young’s death but proved that she is also a victim.
