Link: Eat, Love, Kill Episode 15 Highlights

“So you guys want to catch the culprit from 18 years ago? Fine. Bring him before here. Then I’ll kneel down and apologize to you and Han Eui-chan and resign.”

After the fight between Police Officers Ji Won-tak and Seo Young-hwan, Hwang Min-joo finally notices why Won-tak has been acting differently. Accordingly, Min-joo reaches out to her senior, Young-hwan, and tries to make them reconcile.

Upon reflecting on his mistakes, Police Officer Seo decided to make the first move and apologize to Won-tak and his father. However, he still wants solid proof that the real culprit is not Eui-chan.

In addition, he gave access to Min-joo and Won-tak to the surveillance cameras and helped with their investigation. Instead of investigating Jin-geun, the two are tracking down the man Jin-geun talked to in the alley.

Fortunately, Young-hwan saw the man in the alley, who turns out to Lee Young-hoon. At first, they doubt that Young-hoon is the culprit, but a call from Gye-hoon confirmed their real target.

“I can’t let him know. I can’t let him know that I recognized him. It is used to be just a vague feeling from that time. Now I remember it.”

Facing their fears and fixing their regrets, Da-hyun, Bok-hee, and Chun-ok gather up their courage to testify to the police about Jin-geun’s case. Furthermore, Da-hyun a day by herself, but Gye-hoon can’t seem to disappear in her thoughts.

She then rested and ate at a near food stall, where she encountered Lee Young-hoon. On the other hand, Young-hoon took this opportunity to test Da-hyun if she remembered him by offering a lift.

Da-hyun knows that Young-hoon is testing her, and she tries her best to look composed and mask her fear with a smile. After declining his offer, she immediately left and contacted her mom to fetch her.

However, Young-hoon sensed that Da-hyun remembers him, and run after her to silence her. As she was being chased, Gye-hoon was able to feel her emotions and decided to find her despite no longer sharing an intimate relationship.

He arrived at the right time as Young-hoon was about to stab Da-hyun. With the fear to lose someone he loves again, he gave all his strength to defend her but in the end, was not able to.

Fortunately, he called the police beforehand, and they arrived before Young-hoon also stab Gye-hoon.

“Gye-hoon. Remember this. It’s not your fault. It’s really not your fault. So, stop crying. Promise me.”

As Da-hyun was fighting for her life, she recalls the message Gye-young wants her to relay to Gye-hoon. She grabs this chance to tell him that her sister doesn’t want him to blame himself and cry because of her.

Furthermore, she also realizes that she became linked with him because she’s with Gye-young in her last moments. After sealing their promise, Gye-young might have passed her abilities to Da-hyun.

Thankfully, Da-hyun is still conscious and was rushed to the hospital. Reunited with her family, she also continues to feel Gye-hoon’s emotions and was crying his tears inside the ambulance.

Link: Eat, Love, Kill Episode 15 Musings

Justice is soon to be served, and mistakes are soon to realign in the final week of Link: Eat, Love, Kill. Finally, the culprit hiding in Jihwa-dong surfaces was caught red-handed by the police officers.

However, I was hoping for a more thrilling scene where the heroes of the story struggle to catch Young-hoon. In addition, this episode where the culprit was caught seems to be executed hastily.

Nevertheless, the deep emotions Gye-hoon and Da-hyun express complete this episode and made our hearts cry. With that message Gye-young left, it does not only bring comfort to Gye-hoon but to everyone as well.

Let’s hope that Gye-hoon will finally stop blaming himself and finally “grows up” from the past. Furthermore, let’s wait for more revelations with Young-hoon’s testimonies in the final episode.
