Moonshine Episode 10 Key Moments

“When we began this business, I promised to give you money to make you a commoner.”

Recalling Ro Seo’s promise, Un Sim avoids being caught by Sim Heon as he locates the buyer of Ro Seo’s liquor. She had already transferred the crocks of liquor beforehand.

Following that, Ro Seo and the Kang family discreetly proceed to a place where Chun Geum may be converted from a government servant to a commoner.

Giving the decree to Chun Geum, Ro Seo gladly informs her friend that her ambition to be a commoner has been granted. Subsequently, she expresses that it is up to her if she can stay or go since she is free to be whatever she would like to be and wherever she goes.

Refusing to leave Ro Seo, Chun Geum wants to stay with her, reminding her that their half-and-half portion will encompass both the money and their worries.

At the Saheonbu, Nam Young goes into the office where Commanding Inspector is and frames him without any proof. It appears that inspectors are permitted to pass on rumors to high officials.

“Just so you know, liquor is known as medicine to the wise but poison to those who abuse it.”

As a result of Nam Young reclaiming his inspector badge, he now has the authority to reinvestigate the tunnel and seek strong evidence to catch Sim Heon.

Meanwhile, Ro Seo and the others kept tabs on the money’s whereabouts. Money flows to Merchant Sim’s wealth.

After getting all his riches and releasing one of Sim Heon’s workers to warn him of their invasion, Ro Seo blasts up the site where Sim Heon keeps all of his money.

While Sim Heon’s laborers and servants make their way to the treasury, Nam Young secretly enters Merchant Sim’s facility in search of solid proof.

With Sim Heon waiting alone, Nam Young engages in a fight with him while officer Hwang searches for evidence, which he successfully locates, and their reinforcements arrive just on time. Sim Heon, however, escapes their grasps.

Returning to the capital, Ro Seo and the others savor the taste of their triumph with the remainder of the liquor she prepared, except for Nam Young.

Walking through the forest, Nam Young reveals to Ro Seo that he initially believed liquor did more damage than good.

Correspondingly, Ro Seo informs him that while she may not be well-versed in the law, she understands that the principle of liquor is beneficial to the wise but poisonous to those who misuse it.

When done appropriately, this is comparable to what happened to people during prohibition, but when abused, it causes harm.

“After I met you, I learned what it is like to worry as if I am falling down a cliff, as if I am drowning at the sea, and what it is like to go through the storms of life.”

Nam Young plans to break off his engagement with Ae Jin and meets with his father to apologize for his decision. However, the Minister-of-War has already called off his daughter’s engagement to Nam Young.

Afterwards, Nam Young requests that Chun Gae deliver his written letter to Ro Seo. It says that the tunnel inspection was successful, professes his love for her, and asks her to meet with him.

Unfortunately, Nam Young was unable to go to the place of their rendezvous with Ro Seo because he bumped into Sim Heon and Sim Heon stabbed him with a knife.

Moonshine Episode 10 Musings

Moonshine episode 10 gives us the warmest and most touching friendship we could wish for.

Remarkably, Ro Seo’s bond with Chun Geum demonstrates her selflessness in giving her a fervent yearning to become a commoner rather than a government servant. We also hope for the kind of friendship in which we may confide in someone who experiences both the joys and sorrows of life.

Furthermore, this chapter revealed who was the powerful figure that was supporting Sim Heon’s back; it was the Chief Royal Secretary.

We can gradually see why he convinced the King to increase liquor prohibition while also orchestrating the tunnels used to illegally transport liquor around the capital. It is evidently for greed, power, and money.

Additionally, we can breathe freely for a moment because Ro Seo’s team’s collaboration with the inspectors in locating strong evidence of Sim Heon’s deminse was a pretty successful expedition.

However, as conflict looms around every corner of this series, we have Sim Heon turning the tables by stabbing Nam Young and disposing of the substantial evidence they obtained.

Although Nam Young and Ae Jin’s engagement has been called off, the love pairing cannot be together since it appears as though Ro Seo has taken a permanent position at the courtesan house upon learning of Nam Young’s untimely death.

Notably, we hope that the future episode will definitely have a plot twist that we all deserve to have, especially the fearless heroine and inspector of Moonshine.
