Fully sealing the 8-member friendship circle, Rookie Cops had an upbeat run in the 11th and 12th episodes.
Probably preparing for the heavier mood that would ensue in the subsequent chapters as character connections as well as past events would shape the final conflict.

Rookie Cops Episodes 11 & 12 Key Moments
Budding love and official romance are clinched among the characters of Rookie Cops at the party night they shared together. However, the aftermath tangles them to a high-profile murder case on the horizon.
“You don’t have to do something special to be friends. You don’t have to worry about each other after a fight. Jokes can be made as comforting words or cry from their pain instead. Just by being together, we are friends.”
Slowly but surely Bum-ju finds himself being drawn to Han-na especially after seeing her dance at the party. Thus, he deduces a plan to have the group meet up since everywhere he looks, he sees her sweet mirage. Unfortunately, Han-na who is already at Gangneung where they plan to go for an MT declines Eun-kang’s invitation.
Off the party of 8 to enjoy the West Sea. Listing down the things they want to do, they get excited about the fun they will get once they reach their destination. Unfortunately, their tour guide Bum-ju has an overly historical-themed itinerary in mind.
Losing patience to an overload of information, A-ri moves to escape the situation. They leave Bum-ju and hit the sea while enjoying some games. While wandering in the city, Bum-ju sees Han-na in another humiliating situation with her mother. He gives consoling words to ease her inner pain. Later, they join the group for a dinner by the sea.
Two-Faced Jo Han Sol
Eun-kang and Seung-hyun stumble on a dead woman in the morning of their stay at Gangneung. That same woman is Min Hae-ji who is also Mi-kang’s friend. Mi-kang has been trying to reach her since she borrowed her money.
Unknown to her, when Hae-ji tried to blackmail Jo Han Sol, a rich and popular son of a conglomerate, he ordered for her to be killed. She has secretly taken a video of the revered businessman’s dual side. In public, people admire and respect him. His private persona is vicious and merciless.
In the video, women who are high on drugs are tied up as they are seen battling it out to get a taste of drugs from a suspended container. Cleaning up after his Han-sol’s mess, his secretary tried to retrieve Hae-ji’s laptop that is under Mi-kang’s possession.
Suspecting an important detail could be found there that would provide clues to Hae-ji’s murder, Eun-kang, Seung-hyun and Tak took turns to decipher its lock. There they see the video and deduce how Hae-ji blackmailed someone who caused her misfortune.
Reaching out to Detective Kang, they agree to keep the laptop safe and not tell anyone about it. But they are not aware that Jo Han-sol’s secretary has been tailing them.
Rookie Cops Episodes 11 & 12 Musings
Drawing the connection of Jo Han-sol to Wi Gi-yong, this recent case tackled by our rookie cops would unearth the wrongdoings of the past that connects the family members of Seung-hyun and Tak.
True, Rookie Cops follows an easy narrative where the storytelling makes all the characters get involved to presented story arc problems. But the vibrant cast is covering well how predictable the story is getting.
Additionally, the focus on the friendship and the not-so-stingy showcase of the formed young couples in the story are delightful gifts that neutralize the story.
Down to the last four episodes, we can anticipate the efforts of Professor Cha and Detective Kang to bring justice to Hyun-soo’s death on a clearer note. Definitely, it will lean on an emotional note given the bromance shared by Seung-hyun and Tak.
The drama also hints at a character’s death this week. While we wish for it not to materialize, we can only hope that it holds a significant weight to the story.
Don’t miss the friendship, romance, on-and-off campus life of aspiring police officers in Rookie Cops.
