The White Lady in the Tunnel

Seul-hae got a report about a woman who is missing for five years. The police wanted to consider her deceased. However, Seul-hae initiates working on the case.

Since there are also other cases happening, Seul-hae first went to a tunnel. Reports have been made that there are cryptic incidents happening in that place.

Seul-hae sees a woman standing in the middle of the road wearing a white dress. When she comes closer, the eyes of the woman start turning red, and suddenly starts chasing Seul-hae.

In fear, she asks Cha-Woong for help.

After what had happened, Seul-hae came back with Cha-Woong and the ghosts. However, when they saw the ghosts, they were terrified and ran. Dong-Chul was left there alone with the unknown ghosts. When he saw the face of the ghost, he recognized her because she is someone important to him.

Dong-Chul’s Story

Dong-Chul also works for Cha-Woong as a ghost assistant. In his past life, he is a member of a gang. Even though he has this kind of work, his heart is still kind.

One day, he met Mi-Young, a beautiful woman who always cuts his hair in a barber shop. He falls in love with her and confessed his feelings. Dong-Chul wanted to be a man that Mi-Young can be proud of. That’s why he talks to his boss that he wants to quit his job.

Dong-Chul did his best even though he was full of bruises and scars.

He thinks that it’s all going to be worth it because he can be with Mi-Young. Dong-Chul finished his job well and is free to go. When it’s time for him to go to Mi-Young, he’s happily holding a bouquet when suddenly a man stabs him multiple times.

After showing the trick, Cha-Woong confesses his feelings to Seul-hae. He assures her that, he likes her already before he dreamt of their past lives.

From Now On, Showtime Episode 13 Musings

Nearing the end, From Now On, Showtime never failed to give the best story in each episode. Now it’s time to unlock the stories of the ghost assistants that are living with Cha-Woong.

Dong-Chul’s bravery to leave his job so that he can live a normal life with Mi-Young is a green flag. It reflects how he truly loves his woman and keeps doing his best to be the best version of himself.

Even though they died on the same day and in the same manner, it’s still a happy ending since they can be together again.

The two can enter nirvana together, holding no grudges at all. On the other hand, Cha-Woong’s timing to confess his feelings for Seul-hae is very commendable.

Since Hee-Soo (the evil spirit) would probably continue to break them apart, it’s good that they already know what they are feeling for each other.

With three episodes left, we can expect more amazing plot twists and endearing scenes. So, we better watch out!
