Spreading her name in Hanyang, Kim Jo Yi heard gossips about Park Seung’s family that helped the investigations in the latest episode of Secret Royal Inspector Joy.
With the information she gathered, Jo Yi constantly updates Secret Royal Inspector Ra Yi-eon helping him to find and catch the Crown Prince’s murderer.

Secret Royal Inspector Joy Episode 11 Key Moments
New Girls In Town
In the last episode, Kim Jo Yi, Gwang Soon, and Bi Ryung planned on how they will make a living in Hanyang. Finally showcasing and practicing their talents, Jo Yi and Bi Ryung post posters about making clothes and reading fortunes that interest many women.
Both Jo Yi and Bi Ryung accommodated many customers that helped them to reach their target profit computed by Gwang Soon. Furthermore, Jo Yi visited many noblewomen at their houses where she heard rumors and information about Park Seung and the murder of the Crown Prince.
Second Farewell
On the other hand, Jo Yi’s mother, Deok Bong, arrives in Hanyang to see her daughter. She hides her identity to enter the city because of the guard’s high security.
She entrusts a friend to look after Jo Yi whom who directed her where her daughter and her friends are living. After years of protecting and checking Jo Yi from afar, Deok Bong approaches her and asks if she can embrace her.
Jo Yi was emotional after seeing and talking with her mother and was excited to be finally with her. However, Deok Bong stresses out that she did not approach Jo Yi to live with her again. She also explains that Jo Yi needs to be independent and forget that she has a mother for her protection.
At that moment, Jo Yi asks her mother if she is doing this because of the illegal transactions of gunpowder that Deok Bong is involved in. Also, Jo Yi already talked about the logbook with Seung Yul, which does not justify Jo Yi’s mother’s action.
Despite Jo Yi’s desperate and heartbreaking words, Deok Bong still did not reveal any information about it. To continue protecting her daughter, she left Jo Yi again and disregarded her emotions. Furthermore, Jo Yi still chooses to protect her mother despite being left by her again.
The Boil Physician
Still finding more information about Park Seung and the Crown Prince’s death, Ra Yi Eon secretly worked with the Crown Prince’s guard. Even though he did not find any information about the physician who served the Crown Prince on the night of its death, he found the head physician whom the Crown Prince trusts.
Ra Yi Eon quickly searches for the boil physician after finding out that Park Tae Seo wants to silence him. Unfortunately, Tae Seo found first the boil physician and abused him to reveal where he hid his and Park Seung’s contract to kill the Crown Prince.
After arriving at the boil physician’s place, his dead body only remains in the room. Yi Eon then searched Tae Seo and caught up with him where he saw that he has the same scar on the wrist similar to the physician who gave the Crown Prince the aconite.
On the other hand, Park Seung tries to convince and lure the King to release him after threatening him with the rumors that he killed the Crown Prince.
Secret Royal Inspector Joy Episodes 11 Musings
Kim Jo Yi and Deok Bong’s moment broke our hearts again with Deok Bong’s decision to leave her daughter once more. Despite Jo Yi’s heartbreaking farewell with her mother for the third time, we witness the constant love, respect, and understanding she has for her mother.
And like Jo Yi’s positive outlook, let us all hope that she and her mother will finally be reunited and be together in future episodes. Also, Jo Yi’s choice to destroy the logbook surprises us if whether she will defend her mother from the law or reveal it to Yi Eon.
On the other hand, Jo Yi’s and Yi Eon’s relationship has been showing a healthy and good example of romance. Despite their excitement to fall in love again, they never forget their duties and understand one another’s busy schedules.
Even though the couple does not have many heart-fluttering scenes, let’s continue to hope to see more of their adorable and comical romance in the upcoming episodes.
