Secret Royal Inspector Joy Episode 3 & 4 Key Moments
Seupcheop: Ra Yi Eon and Kim Jo Yi’s Second Encounter
After helping Kim Jo Yi stamp her divorce papers, inspector Ra Yi Eon, Yook Chil, and Goo Pal go deeper into the mountain to investigate. On the other hand, Kim Jo Yi can finally fulfill her shared dreams with Hwang Bo Ri to live in Hanyang.
As Jo Yi starts her new journey, she reminiscence her memories with her late best friend, Hwang Bo Ri. She then decided to rest in a shrine where she dreamed about Gaehwa Valley and Ra Yi Eon.
Finally, Ra Yi Eon, Yook Chil, and Goo Pal arrive at their destination. Yi Eon tripped and fell beside Jo Yi, and questions why she is sleeping in a dangerous place. He remembers that she is now a divorced woman and concludes that she is waiting for a new husband.
Ra Yi Eon explained a custom called “Seupcheop,” warning her that it is punishable by law if she won’t practice it. The two realized that Yi Eon is the first man who came across Jo Yi then started bickering and agonizing.
The Aconite
Ra Yi Eon showed his charisma and intelligence as a secret royal inspector as he caught corrupt officials in Gaehwa Village. He was more determined to continue the investigation after finding a lead that connects to the late Crowned Prince’s death.
He also realizes that the masterminds are the one who supplies and makes a herbal drink called aconite. It was then determined that the improper use of this plant has negative side effects on those who consumed it.
From his memories, he remembered that his childhood friend, the Crown Prince, drank a medicinal drink before he died. As they investigate, they discovered a group that is also linked with the Crown Prince’s death.
Kim Jo Yi’s First Investigation
While Yi Eon and Jo Yi argue about the Seupcheop, a group of thieves stormed and captured them. Even though their lives are at risk, they continue to hide Yi Eon’s identity.
Luckily, another group of homeless children scared the thieves away that helped Yi Eon to escape. Jo Yi saw a woman who resembles her best friend who rescued these children from the Soyang Trading Group leader, Cha Mal Jong.
They saw that the children are sick and discovered that they worked and were in contact with aconite. Yi Eon, Jo Yi, Yook Chil, and Goo Pal once again hide their identity and investigate the group.
However, as they are about to be exposed, Jo Yi used her cleverness and helped the three to escape. She resorted to abide the Seupcheop and pretended that Yi Eon is her husband. To let Cha Mal Jong and Park Tae Seo believed them, she confidently kisses Yi Eon.

Leveling up the thrill and excitement of the previous episodes, this week’s episodes continue to capture my interest with their fun and interesting narrative. It also continues to establish the characters and introduce new intriguing characters.
Pieces by pieces, Ra Yi Eon’s past unveils, letting the audiences know more of his story and personality. His and Kim Jo Yi’s chemistry also starts to spark into a romance with their comical synergies.
Furthermore, I’m excited to discover more secrets and stories in the series and how humor can be incorporated into this perilous story. With the previous episodes premiered, more laughter and action are all coming on our way.
