Entangled Fate
Learning about In-bum’s relationship with Oh Sung-sik, her mom’s last client, Ji-a blames him as the cause of the tragic event. But after thinking it over, Ji-a understood In-bum’s point of how they have fragments of memories only. But they don’t have the exact details of what really happened that night. They tried to plant hidden cameras, but Hak-sung saw through their intention.
Keen to uncover the truth behind what happened, Ji-a decides to do an exorcism for Oh Sung-sik to get a view of his memories. Secretary Joo is against her plan because of her connection to Do Hak-sung. The latter also staged a client and led In-bum and Ji-a to an abandoned warehouse. They were trapped left inside the freezing warehouse without hope of escaping the looming peril.
Just as Secretary Joo also fell on Hak-sung’s trap, Ji-a and In-bum also are in the last straw of their strength. Fortunately, Ji-a’s mom not only has the power to thwart her daughter’s shopping addiction, but she can also open locked doors. She rescues them from being captured hopelessly.
Sell Your Haunted House Episodes 9 & 10 Series Musings
Ji-a and In-bum are closer to their mutual goal of bringing justice to their loved ones. We are looking to a deciding showdown with Hak-sung down the stretch of Sell Your Haunted House. The coming episodes hint Secretary Joo escaped the prepared piles of wood meant to hurt her. In her chat with Hak-sung, she also suggests how he’s not just the one who visited Oh Sung-sik before he died.
The featured story this week has quite an engrossing story of how a woman sacrificed herself to save a fellow woman on the brink of danger from a stalker. Losing her ultimate dream of performing on the stage as a musical artist, the woman she helped sought help from Daebak Realty and brought justice to her death by capturing the culprit.
We are clearly tying up the loose ends while our resident ghost dispellers continue to tackle cases while waiting to move to the ultimate one. I am thinking it would be more fitting for both Ji-a’s mom and Oh Sung-sik to be finally put to rest together owing to their shared tragic fate.
Secretary Joo’s full story is yet to be shared. Definitely, it will draw an emotional weight to the narrative. Experiencing Hak-sung’s evil hand, I am rooting for our feisty exorcist and psychic to return the trouble.
