Do Hak-sung is Cornered

In-bum and Ji-chul move to track Tae-jin for the stolen MOA. Patching up with Secretary Joo, Ji-ah meets her and listens to how she has vowed to protect her since Ji-a’s mom gives her another leash to continue her life.

Tae-jin who was finally located by In-bum and Ji-chul unfortunately chose to give the MOA to his old boss. But before he can meet Hak-sung, his thugs welcome him so he ran away with the other two guys chasing him.

Sulking about the trouble caused by Tae-jin, Ji-a cheers In-bum up. When restaurant owner ajumma finds Tae-jin resting inside, she prepares food and they chat about what happened with Chang-hwa. The advice from ajumma gets to Tae-jin’s heart and reveals the MOA is still with him and gives it to In-bum.

Through the MOA surrendered by Tae-jin, the prosecution moves to investigate Hak-sung. But the sneaky villain knows how to manipulate the law and uses his secretary to be his shield. Good thing Team Daebak sees through Hak-sung’s escape plan and works to lure Hak-sung’s secretary to go to the right side.

However, the cunning Hak-sung disposes of his secretary when he learned that she is in contact with Team Daebak.

Sell Your Haunted House Episodes 13 & 14 Musings

I did not include episode 15 which was already out since it would be more complete if I will wait for the final episode. Joining In-bum and Ji-a in their spirit dispelling adventure has been an interesting experience. The lessons highlighted in the featured ghost stories highlight the neglected and disappointing relationship we build with other people and our loved ones.

Delving into the deeper meaning of creating connection and useless harboring of emotions that we don’t need at all, the series surprisingly makes a consoling watch. For those who still feel daunted and get easily scared of spooky stories, you need not worry as the drama is generously layered with humor to neutralize the eerie mood.

Will Hak-sung’s secretary become an unrested spirit? Why and how did the “egg ghost” return? These are vital questions to be concluded in the last two chapters of the series.

Don’t miss the finale of Sell Your Haunted House on June 9!
