Nam-soon and Hee-sik go undercover to get more details about the alarming new drug in the 3rd week of Strong Girl Nam Soon.
Geum-ju is also on the same mission and offers collaboration with her daughter.

Strong Girl Nam Soon Episodes 5 and 6 Highlights
Reunited with her family, Nam-soon proceeds to fulfill her purpose. That is to use her strength to be of help to people. She invites herself to Hee-sik’s mission of cracking a drug business. They pose as part-time workers to Doogo, a business owned by nouveau-rich, Si-Oh.
“I’m not in some kind of metaverse, right? I’m in the real world.”
When the warehouse closes, Hee-sik and Nam-soon proceed to their undercover operation. While he prepares the things they need, she already took care of opening the heavy rolling shutter and her bionic eyes easily spot the face masks they are targeting to get a sample of.
Pressed with time, they rush to go out but Hee-sik gets hurt so Nam-soon takes charge and carries him princess-style to where another team member waits.
The police received a report from one of Doogo’s employees who sighted the impostor, Myung-hee. But she later shuts down the employee and is even more enraged at the police.
Meanwhile, Grandma Joong-gan is eager to color the love story she has in mind with Grandpa barista.
“Let’s saves the world. You and me.”
Geum-ju continues delving through her connection and money about the ongoing drug case to which she knows who the possible culprit is.
Proceeding to their undercover mission, Nam-soon and Hee-sik work together. Unfortunately, the operation was aborted because the forensic result found no traces of drugs on the masks at Doogo factory. The police also face problems as their witnesses die.
It appears the new drug is utterly potent and could lead to death easily. Hee-sik also figures out how drinking water could lead to death.
Nam-soon decides to go alone to the factory but encounters Si-oh who uses his strength to throw her away and leaves. Later, she confesses to her mother about her activities. When she sees Si-oh’s picture on Geum-ju’s laptop, the latter offers a collab to bring order and peace that the dangerous drug would bring.
With Hee-sik busy taking care of his team leader who took a bit of the potent drug last time, Nam-soon asks her friends to help her with work.
Shi-oh learns his man was caught on CCTV by the police and he also agrees to meet Geum-ja in a private card game.
At Doogo, Nam-soon was caught off guard when Myung-hee rushes to her and stabs her with a knife.

That was a bold move from Myung-hee. Thankfully, a glimpse at the next episode sees Nam-soon still happy and healthy. So, we can be assured that she survived the attack.
Now that Geum-ju knows her daughter’s mission aligns with her, we can see their cooperation in taking down the drug problem as the major driving point of the story.
Interestingly, the romantic notes sprinkled generously in the series cushion the drug concern highlighted. It’s hard not to root for Geum-ju and Bong-go to rekindle their old flame just as how we hope for Joong-gan and Grandpa barista to find their way back into love.
Of course, we know that eventually, the mutual care shared by Nam-soon and Hee-sik will prosper into romance. As seen in the episode 7 preview, viewers won’t wait long for their love story to kick in.
It looks like Nam-in might be going into trouble from the pill given to him by the cryptic woman who said it would be good for losing weight.
Who would win in the outsmarting game being brewed by Geum-ju and assessed smartly by Shi-oh?
