Dali And The Cocky Prince

Dali and Cocky Prince Quick Plot Recap

She subsequently meets Jin Mu-hak (Kim Min Jae), the second son of a food franchise owner, who traveled to the Netherlands to secure a business deal.

However, due to some airport mishaps, Mu-hak mistakes Dali for his guide, which results in catastrophe when they both visit a high-profile exhibit and are escorted out.

Eventually, the two develop feelings for one another as Dali returns to Seoul following the death of her father and learns that the Art Gallery her family owns is on the verge of bankruptcy.

Changes in People’s Perspectives and Decisions For Money

After the death of Dali’s father, many of his reliable business allies withdrew and refused to assist Dali in saving Cheongsong Gallery. Even their family’s trusted bank advises Dali to sell the Art Gallery rather than take on additional debt.

On top of that, other acquainted business partners barge into the Art Gallery to collect their debt payments in advance, despite the well-arranged discussion of the payments prior to the deadline.

Dali’s Consistent Sacrifices To Save The Art Gallery

Despite being the heiress of a wealthy family, Dali made countless sacrifices and faced obstacles in order to save the gallery that she regards as her father.

Consequently, Dali was compelled to sell their house and pawn some of her valuable possessions to pay off some of her father’s debt. She also endured considerable suffering, such as staying in a motel rather than a hotel to save money and use it to pay her staff’s salaries.

When she refused to let go of the money as the part-timer robbed her, she passed out from the robber’s punches and kicks that further acquired her bruises and wounds.

Similarly, she was criticized for being adopted and the false information about her going to a motel with a man by a certain press, which resulted in the ruin of her image and the art gallery. As well as the public’s allegations that her father primarily smuggled illegal drugs into the gallery.

Fortunately, she overcame all of her trials and tribulations since Mu-hak was constantly alongside her to console and protect her.

A Diverse Relationships Between Parents and Their Children

At her lowest point, when her father’s relative broke the news of her adoption, Mu-hak provided her with wise and impactful counsel regarding the differences in family experiences.

There’s Mu-hak’s father, who neglects his sick wife, engages in an affair, and allows his son to work at an early age.

Besides this, a father who is regarded and respected by society hits his daughter. Then, a certain son changed his last name to become the son of a wealthy man when his birth father was still alive and well.

Above all, Dali is a daughter who risks everything she has for her late father.

Dali and Cocky Prince Series Musings *Spoiler Alert

With the best-laid plans working with the series’ plot twist, it’s an admirable run for Dali and Cocky Prince. It was surprising to learn that Jang Tae Jin was the mastermind behind shutting down the gallery and murdering Dali’s father all along.

This leads to the conclusion that he has no intention of reconciling with or marrying Dali, but is blinded by his desire to expand his firm and earn more money.

Furthermore, whenever Dali reaches her tipping point, Mu Hak is there to support her. It might be practical advice or consoling advice, but he has a clear intention for his love for Dali and to avoid her being hurt.

Notably, while Dali has a tremendous and unfathomable amount of determination and perseverance throughout the series, I, too, was patient as I saw her deal with her personal, financial, and family challenges on a regular basis. Dali is an excellent example to follow when confronted with adversity, particularly in these challenging times.

However, this series serves as a reminder that we should avoid being reliant on loans, considering this will result in massive debts that would make living blissfully difficult.
