The show starts with a suicide scene of Hye-seung’s devastated ex-husband by the deception of her lover. This self-destruction act sparks the premise of the show as the start of hostility between Hye-seung (Kim Hee Sun) and Yoo-hee (Jung Yu Jin).
Hye-seung meets her nemesis at the matchmaking company and decides to act on her desire for revenge – that is to ruin the women who ruined her life.
Suspense and the thriller go around her way to gain power while raising her daughter as a single parent.
Ultimately, she aims to expose Yoo-hee and her wrongdoings towards her ex-husband and stop her from further ruining another person’s life.
