K-Travel Diary Snippet: Seoul Land – The First Theme Park In South Korea

Seoulland

Housed in the vast area of Seoul Grand Park, Seoul Land completes a full day of visiting this popular family-friendly amusement complex.

It’s no secret that Korea brims with amusement parks and is also a favorite destination for locals and tourists alike.

Visit Korea shared that Seoul Land features a wide selection of seasonal festivals and the unique Laser Show held during the evening.

It is a popular destination as it is easily accessible from downtown Seoul and has many nearby attractions, being part of the larger Seoul Grand Park complex.

Seoul Land

Opened in May 1988 ahead of the Seoul Olympics, Seoul Land is paving the way for a new Korean theme park.

As expected for theme parks, some of your favorite romance dramas were filmed in the lively setting of the park.

The Smile Has Left Your Eyes, Strong Girl Bong Soon, She Was Pretty and Princess Hours are some of the dramas best known to have been filmed in Seoulland.

What I honestly love about Seoul Land is that it doesn’t overwhelm like the usual big theme parks. It’s also a nice place to take pictures that you can social media flaunt.

At the same time, if you like taking candid photos of people, you would enjoy capturing scenes like that in Seoulland.

Evidently, it is family-friendly and also a nice place to visit with your friends or lover.
