Upcoming rom-com film 2 O’Clock Date confirms cast line-up starring Ahn Bo Hyun, Im Yoon Ah, Sung Dong Il, and Joo Hyun Young.
Slated to premiere last March, 2 O’Clock Date made changes with their official cast as Im Yoon Ah confirms pairing with Ahn Bo Hyun. Furthermore, acclaimed actor Sung Dong Il and rookie actress Joo Hyun Young are the new addition to the film.
Produced by Filmmaker R&K, 2 O’Clock Date will be led by Director Lee Sang Geun — the writer and director of Exit. He reunites with Im Yoon Ah, with whom he worked on the said film.
Im Yoon Ah plays Seong Jin Ah, a simple but lovely woman who has a big secret. She then ends up meeting her neighbor living upstairs every day, Gil Goo (Ahn Bo Hyun).
On the other hand, Gil Goo is an unemployed man from a well-off family. The actor also expressed gratitude to be able to worth with Director Lee Sang Geun;
“I was attracted to a different scenario at once. I enjoyed watching Exit so much that I’m excited to be with director Lee Sang Geun. And I’m confident to work with Lim Yoon Ah.”
Moreover, Sung Dong Il will portray Seong Jin Ah’s father, Jung Soo. He has performed in different notable dramas including; the Reply franchise series, My Girlfriend Is A Gumiho, Legend Of The Blue Sea, The Cursed, and the recent drama Ghost Doctor.
Joo Hyun Young transforms into Jin Ah’s cousin, Jung Ah Ra. Her breakthrough role was in the drama Best Mistake, which has a total of three seasons.
With that, Director Lee Sang Geun invites the audience to support 2 O’Clock Date,
“It’s an honor and a pleasure to crank in my second work. I’m even more pleased that the staff and actors who can trust, rely on, and be together have gathered together. I want to complete a movie that the audience will enjoy and like.”
