The lead cast of the movie Holy Night: Demon Hunters has been confirmed!
On June 28, the production team of Holy Night: Demon Hunter (WT) announced Ma Dong Seok, Seohyun, Lee David, Kyung Soo Jin, and Jung Ji So as the cast members. They also began their first filming day.
Holy Night: Demon Hunters is an action and supernatural genre film. The story follows the group called the “holy night team”. They hunt demons and fight the devil-worshipping groups. They also have some special abilities that help them through their mission.
Meet Team Holy Night!
Ma Dong Seok takes the role of Ba-woo, the member who uses his fist and bare hands to beat demons and devil-worshippers. He is the real fighter of the group. The decorated character actor has appeared in numerous films and dramas including Train to Busan, The Outlaws, Bad Guys, Squad 38 and more. He is set to appear in the Marvel film, Eternals as Gilgamesh.
Seohyun plays Sharon, a member of the holy night team who can locate demons and perform intense exorcism rituals to invoke them. Seohyun has been showing her stable acting in dramas such as Private Lives and Moon Lovers:Scarlet Heart Ryeo.
Suiting up as Kim Gun, the mood maker of the group is David Lee. He helps Sharon with her exorcism rituals and tracks Ba-woo’s performances. From movies to dramas, Lee David has carved his presence efficiently. His most recent projects include Swing Kids, Itaewon Class and Law School.
Along the way, they will meet Jeong-won to be portrayed by Kyung Soo Jin. She is a neuropsychiatric doctor who will ask the group to heal her sister from strange illness. Kyung Soo-Jin impressed the viewers with her acting in dramas Hush, Mouse and Train.
Jung Ji So will be playing Eun-so, Jeong-Won’s sister who is possessed by a demon. Her most recent dramas are Imitation, Doom At Your Service and The Cursed.
Additionally, Ma Dong Seok co-produces this film with his Big Punch Production company. Penning and directing the film is director Lim Dae Hee.
