Dangerously charming and unfazed, the duality of Kim Seon Ho in The Childe oozes in the latest teasers.
The Childe follows the story of Marco as he pursues his dream of becoming a boxer, encountering terrible villains along the way. Marco wanders around illegal stadiums in the Philippines, and people with different goals appear in front of him.
It is a new film directed by Park Hoon Jung, who previously directed The Witch: Part 1, The Subversion, and The New World.
Notably, it is drawing attention as the big screen debut of Kim Seon Ho, who received great love and support through his works including Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha, Start-Up and more.
Through The Childe, Kim Seon Ho turns into a nobleman showing a transformation opposite from his previous characters.

Sharing thoughts about his new work, Kim Seon Ho relayed wanting to work with Director Park Hoon Jung.
“I usually like director Park Hoon-jung’s works, so I was excited at the thought of wanting to work with him even before I read the entire script. The story development was speedy and fresh, and the “nobleman” character is very interesting.”
Having an in-depth conversation with Director Park about his character, Kim immersed himself in his role down to the smallest details.
As revealed in the latest character stills, he is seen wearing a pomade hairstyle and neat suit, to realistic then she shifts to a ruthless yet relaxed and witty-looking nobleman character.
His costar Kim Kang Woo praised the actor who was impressed with his performance when it is his first action film project.
Martial Arts director Hwang Jin-mo also lauds his commitment.
“He is very good and learns quickly. Even if he does a single movement, he is a hardworking actor who practices repeatedly so that he can come out naturally and instinctively”
The Childe is ready to launch in Korean cinemas on June 21!
