“Happy Hallyu Day” Invites Fans For A Virtual Fest

Philippine Kpop Convention Inc. and Korean Cultural Center in the Philippines team up to celebrate Happy Hallyu Day 5: A Virtual Fest.

Happy Hallyu Day celebrates Korean Wave with K-entertainment talks, K-pop performances, contests, and games. The virtual celebration starts on August 28-29 at 7 PM on the Philippine Kpop Convention Inc. Facebook Page. 

Celebrating with PH Hallyu fans is an actress and K-Drama fan, Kristel Fulgar. She will be this year’s special guest and will talk about her web drama Love From Home.

For fans who love to dance to K-Pop music, Kpop Dance Diva Dasuri Choi will also share her experience and tips with us. 

A Filipino participant, C13, of the survival show ‘Under Nineteen,’ will also attend the fest. Christian Saraos will share his journey as a K-Pop trainee and performs his debut single, Stay

Adding more fun are Happee Sy and Philippine’s premiere Korean entertainment MC, Kring Kim, who will talk about K-Pop Concerts.

Furthermore, rising P-Pop idols show the potential of Filipinos for producing top-notch music. WIN (Want It Now) will perform on the virtual stage with their debut single, Press Hit Play.

On the other hand, BINI performs their debut single, Born To Win, while BGYO returns to the stage with The Baddest. They are also set for some K-Pop challenges.

 

A five-day “Countdown Special”

Before the main fest, Happy Hallyu Day will have a “Countdown Special” from August 23 to 27. Fans serve with entertaining segments, Twitter parties, and exclusive prizes from different partners and guests.

Sharing their experiences and tips for K-travel and concerts, Cherie and Mel will also attend the party. Furthermore, Coach Tank Bautista teaches us choreography highlights of hot K-pop songs.

Filipino K-Pop fan clubs including; ATEEZ, BTS, ENHYPEN, EXO, Stray Kids, THE BOYSZ, Treasure, and TXT will have their special spotlight. 

Finally, Happy Hallyu Day 5: A Virtual Fest is hosted by Philippine-based Korean host, KyungMin Kim. Multilingual soul-pop princess Venisse Siy and performer-producer J.O. start the heat with their opening performances.
