Shining Like You Quick Plot Recap
Forging her admission paper, Lu Qi Yi (Wang Zi Xuan) follows her dream to perform on stage. With the help of her friend, Bai Qiao (Ma Chun Rui), they lied and pretend to Qi Yi’s parents that she is studying English.
Eventually, Qi Yi’s parents found out that their intelligent and “top of the class” daughter took a different course. Despite being hesitant and worried about Qi Yi’s future, they gave her a chance but some disapproved of her choices.
Though Qi Yi struggles to keep up with her talented classmates, these disappointments helped her to do better and to prove that performing is for her. Together with her friends, Du Ang, Zi Mo, Hao Kao Xin, and Li San Shang, they unite to uplift and help one another to achieve their dreams.

Through his character, Fang Yan, actor Gong Jun showcased his powerful acting by acting in different roles in the drama. Both he and Wang Zi Xuan showed their talents for singing and dancing as well.
