Soo-jae seems to be having a head start in the marriage project in It’s Beautiful Now. However, his way of acquiring his bride-to-be might lead him to be disqualified.
His competitive brothers of course are also making their preparations. One is going on a delightful path while the other might progress to a romantic route.

It’s Beautiful Now Episode 5 Highlights
Truly living up to fire up the marriage project race, Soo-jae introduces Yu-na as his girlfriend to the Lee elders. Unaware that the two are just friends, they happily welcome her to the family.
Meanwhile, Hyun-jae reunites with his ex-flame who is seeking a divorce from her rich husband. He also learns how her life has been hard and she had also developed panic attacks.
The Women Yoon-jae Needed To Appease
Oblivious to Hae-jun’s attraction, Yoon-jae ends up buying dinner to appease Hae-jun for refusing to give his phone number. Interestingly, Yoon-jae’s blind date visits him at his clinic for scaling. She also demands to be pacified since he rejected her.
Ergo, he brings the two women to a place where they can eat and also practice playing drums. It turns out that in the meeting with the variety show PD for the dating show, he needs to present his charming points.
Flaunting his drumming skills made the two women even more interested in him. Their initial frustration easily gets quelled.
The Color That Suits Hyun-jae
Hae-jun who met her love rival over dinner unfortunately suffered indigestion after the dinner with Yoon-jae. Knowing that a younger woman also eyes her target made her competitive. That results in her inability to attend a TV show guesting.
Mi-rae who was also summoned by Hae-jun arrives at her place. Knowing her predicament, she volunteers to doll up Hyun-jae for his TV guesting.
Bringing in some colored fabrics, she picks the colors with him. Sparks fly with how intimate their position seems and when their gazes met after Hyun-jae inadvertently touched her hand.
It’s Beautiful Now Episode 5 Musings
The spirited vibe continues for It’s Beautiful Now. Along with that, the love pairings are also shaping up clearly in the previously hinted direction.
So far, the humor in Yoon-jae’s marriage project situation is amusing us with how cutely clueless he is. Coupled with Hae-jun’s personality, we are getting an addicting amount of good times from them.
Inadvertently, Hyun-jae’s upcoming TV show exposure might help his preparations for the marriage project. Although if he can tone down his highly logical self, and notch up his romantic side, he might realize quick that he does not need to look far and wide.
As mentioned before, Soo-jae took a gamble with his supposed “business arrangement” with Yu-na. Therefore, the route of their love story might hit an impasse if their ploy gets discovered when their relationship becomes real.
Plot elements in family dramas usually involve birth secret. We seem to be getting it as well in the series. Moreover, representations of different types of Korean families were also introduced in the story.
It’s quite unconventional family setup as well given how the Lee brothers’ father is adopted by Grandpa Lee. Same goes with Mi-rae’s mom who is also adopted by a couple who are both educators.
Since we are just starting in the series, it’s best not to think of clues that are so far given, and just focus on the marriage project.
