Portrayed by Zhao Lusi, Sang Qi became the first female student to study in the all-boys school, Imperial College. With the help of his father, the Grand Marshal, she was able to fulfill his late brother’s wish – to study at his alma mater.
Sang Qi’s life then intertwines with the Imperial College’s Deputy Chief, Yan Yun Zhi (Xu Kai Cheng). Her “small” competition with Song Jia Yin (Zhang Yue) to invite Yun Zhi to the Lantern Festival took a turn with her relationship with the Deputy Chief.

And even though there are many plot twists and fighting scenes, Lusi Zhao and Xu Kai Cheng’s chemistry changed the atmosphere in every episode. Aside from their heart racing synergy, the two also did not disappoint the audience in making us laugh and cry.
I also love the side stories of the supporting characters that connect with the main story. In addition, the antagonists achieved in making the viewers furious and annoyed with their performances.
From comical to the action genre, the series perfectly transitions these emotions to the story. With that, A Female Student Arrives At The Imperial College is one of the C-Drama I enjoyed and recommend watching this year.
Notable Lineup Of Actors
The heartstring will not be successfully strung without the outstanding performance of the actors. It is my second time watching Zhao Lusi, and I must say that I slowly fell in love with her portrayal of her roles.
She is also perfectly synchronized with Xu Kai Cheng which is seen and felt with their performances together. I also commend the lineup of supporting actors in this drama.
In other drama series, I notice that their supporting characters are weak and establish their stories unclearly. But with A Female Student Arrives At The Imperial College‘s lineup, I can feel their chemistry and comfortability working with each other.
