K-Drama Finale Preview & Theories: “The King Eternal Monarch”

The clock is ticking for the final chapter of The King: Eternal Monarch!

This week, we are sending off another superb drama top-billed by Lee Min Ho, Kim Go Eun, Woo Do Hwan and Kim Kyung Nam. Last week’s episode catapulted to a thrilling race against time by the hero and villain.

While some questions were answered, the hanging question of the love impossibility between the lead love pairing remains unresolved.

If you have been following Kim Eun Sook’s previous dramas, you know how amazing she is on delineating the climax of the story. Sometimes it will be one big blow, sometimes it will be a strong series of waves. So far, I am confident that the hype on the series is justified by the impressive imaginative scale.

I always enjoy intricately woven narrative, something that the series has been capitalizing on efficiently. Apart from the romance, the distinction of the characters in the two worlds has given us plenty of supporting convictions on why the drama deserves a seat on the Best K-Drama List for this season.

Meanwhile, Netflix unveiled a preview of the finale and we should brace for some heartbreaking moments.

Will we see a happy ending for Jung Tae Eul and Lee Gon? Is there gonna be a heartbreaking death from the main characters?

Don’t miss the last episode of The King: Eternal Monarch on June 12 via Netflix!
