Joining the talented actress are Jung Eun Chae, Kim Joon Han and Park Ye Young.
Directed by Lee Joo Young, Anna is a thriller drama about a woman named “Anna” who has ‘Ripley Syndrome.’ This disorder is considered a type of antisocial personality, wherein an individual has a hard time communicating with others and believes in a fictional world.
Getting to Know the Leads
Bae Suzy, who plays the role of Yumi would be the one who suffers from Ripley Syndrome, and can’t help but believe lies about themselves. If not treated, individuals who have these have high tendencies to commit crimes.
With Suzy’s new role, many are excited about how she would portray a character who has an anti-social personality disorder. Suzy also starred in famous dramas like Uncontrollably Fond and While You Were Sleeping.
Meanwhile, Jung Eun Chae seizes the role of Hyun-Joo, who lives a superior life without minding others. Jung also appeared in several dramas like The Guest and The King: Eternal Monarch.
Moreover, Kim Joon Han dressed up the character of Ji-Hoon, Yumi’s husband, whom she trust the most. He is also ambitious and future-oriented. Kim has proven his immense acting skills in Prison Playbook and One Spring Night.
Lastly, Park Ye Young whose also known as writer Ji-Won in Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha would also add up to the powerful cast of Anna. Her role in the drama is yet to unveil.
“I was prepared with a pleasant tension, and I waited for the day to come as soon as possible. I ask you a lot of expectations for “Anna” that we will make with director Lee Joo-young and other staff members,” affirmed Suzy.
Jung also expressed that the script is full of intensity wherein audience can enjoy. All the staff and the production team invite everyone to patiently wait for the release of Anna.
Anna is expected to air in 2022.
