When The Flowers Bloom I Think of The Moon tells the story of the growth of young people who share friendship while experiencing love and life. It is set in the background of the late Joseon dynasty when the severe prohibition of alcohol was mandated.
Filming for the drama begins this month and targets a broadcast date in the second half of the year. Producer Hwang In Hyuk, who is in charge of directing, is highly acclaimed by critics for his sensuous direction in Doctor Prisoner.
Suiting up to the role of crown prince Lee Pyo equipped with rebellious beauty in the era of prohibition is rising actor Byun Woo Seok. Lee Pyo is the owner of “a face that brightens the world wherever he goes,” and although he was not destined to become a prince from the beginning, he is currently the only prince and is the number one succession to the throne.
For a prince who literally has everything, his only weakness is his penchant for alcohol which causes him trouble. He often sneaks into the wheat kitchen to satisfy his liquor craving.
In his previous work Record of Youth, the actor played the fresh youthful appearance and has garnered praises from the viewers.
Meanwhile, Kang Mina transforms into Han Ae-jin, a straightforward lady from a prestigious family. She is firm with her actions and refuses to do things forced on her. The actress last worked on hit tvN drama, Hotel Del Luna.
The series is scheduled to be aired on KBS 2TV in the second half of 2021.
