MBC’s upcoming series Check Out the Event recently released a new poster and teaser video showing Bang Minah and Kwon Hwa Woon’s chemistry.
MBC’s special drama would air on August 14. It would be serving a full-packed romance-melodrama about youth that would narrate the story of Ha Song-Yi (Bang Minah) and Park Do-Kyum (Kwon Hwa Woon).
Song-Yi and Do-Kyum are former lovers that pretend to be in a relationship to head on a couple’s trip that they won in an event. On their journey, they unravel different emotions and feelings.
Do-Kyum is a leader and a vocalist of an indie band. Meanwhile, Song-Yi works as a botanical garden coordinator.
Min-Ah and Hwa Woon Explodes With Youthfulness
In the second teaser video of Check Out the Event, we can see Song-Yi and Do-Kyum doing all the things together with love. It also felt nostalgic because the feelings and the love that they once felt unfolds.

In the photos released, there are lots of moments that they weaved together that are hard to let go of. They cuddled, went on dates, rode bicycles, and moments that would remain bittersweet.
Moreover, on their trip to Jeju Island Do-Kyum clearly shows that his feelings for Song-Yi remain. He still hopes that maybe he would still have a chance to turn it back.
Added to this, the photo was released where the couple seats on a bench with a backdrop of buckwheat field on Jeju Island. Looking intently at each other, they showed melting gazes and conveys that the trip happened after their break-up.
The image is also full of unrecognized emotions that the two kept since they separated. Despite this, the teaser photo didn’t fail in conveying a cool atmosphere, with a shade of blue and white.
The special drama would give its’ viewers the reality of a break-up wherein one person might still have lingering feelings for the other person. It would also be full of youthfulness and love that they’ve experienced at least once in their life.
