“Delivery Man” Displays Dynamic Relationship Between Yoon Chan Young and Bang Minah

Delivery Man

To be released on March 1, Delivery Man foreshadows a fascinating fantasy duo to decorate the series.

The series follows the story of a taxi driver named Young-min who drives ghosts as his customers. He chances upon Ji-hyun a wandering soul who lost her memories. Anticipation is expected on what kind of special guests will take a ride to the strange ghost taxi.

Delivery Man reunites directors Kang Sol and Park Dae Hee and writers Park Hye-young, and Han Bo-kyung who worked together in Show Window: The Queen’s House. Writer Joo Hyo-jin also joins the creative team.

“Delivery Man” Presents Yoon Chan Young As Wish-Granting Taxi Driver

Delivery Man

In the drama, Yoon Chan Young plays the role of Seo Young-min a taxi driver who makes a living by stepping on the full accelerator whenever the taxi fare is resolved. The reason he needs money so much is to keep his grandmother and the house he lives in.

He started the business of an unheard-of “Ghost Taxi” and works as a delivery man who solves the wishes of special customers.

Meanwhile, Bang Minah suits up as Kang Ji-hyun, a lively and bright ghost with amnesia in Delivery Man.

Unable to endure injustice and ignore people in need, Kang Ji-hyun sets out to sell a wish-granting ghost taxi service to fulfill the last wishes of the ghosts as he clings to Seo Young-min’s taxi. She does not have a recollection of her memories and accidentally gets a free ride in Seo Young-min’s taxi.

Lastly, Kim Min Seok plays Do Gyu-jin, a workaholic emergency worker.

Accordingly, the photos released today flaunt how the relationship between Young-min and Ji-hyun progressed. From their first meeting where Young-min sensed Ji-hyun to be a strange passenger; and Ji-hyun is also dissatisfied with how defensive he appears with an extreme leaning toward money.

Although starting off on the wrong foot, they collaborate on the “ghost taxi” service. Before long their faces beam brightly in the middle of pouring money. At what point they became friendly business partners is one of the drawing points of the story.

Taking turns to praise each other, Yoon Chan Young reveals how he trusts his co-star.

“Bang Minah is a good person with bright energy. She was always looking for a better way, so she was reassuring to have by her side. I learned a lot while watching those scenes.”

Echoing the same appreciation Bang Minah revealed what to expect in the series.

“I had fun filming with Yoon Chan-young while getting motivated by him. While learning from his acting, I had fewer worries. I think our pleasant energy and passion will reflect in the drama.”

Meanwhile, Genie TV’s original series Delivery Man will be released for the first time on March 1 at 9:00 pm on Genie TV, ENA, and TVING.
