Presenting the confirmed ensemble cast of Golden Spoon, MBC intends to enchant viewers with a story revolving around money and desire.
Slated for release in the second half of 2022, Golden Spoon narrates the story of a child born into a poor family who eventually becomes a wealthy family due to the accidental acquisition of a gold spoon. It is an adventure story about a life that changed course owing to a chance encounter with a friend that resulted in the possession of a gold spoon.
Additionally, the drama is based on the popular same-named Naver webtoon. Even before the broadcast, Yook Sungjae, Lee Jong Won, Jung Chaeyeon, and Yeonwoo appeared in succession. Prospective viewers’ expectations are growing as to the kind of story the four people will tell.
Introducing The Vibrant Cast of Golden Spoon
In the drama, Yook Sungjae stars as Lee Seung-cheon, a student who dreams of changing his life with the help of a golden spoon.
Speculating on the sort of performance he would provide in Gold Spoon, audiences await the actor who has shown great synchronization with the character in a variety of works, including the dramas Mystic Pop-up Bar, Who Are You: School 2015, and Goblin.

Yeonwoo, who has been praised for her ability to depict vivid characters in Dali and Cocky Prince, Live On, and Alice, is focusing on how she will captivate viewers in the series.

Notably, Samhwa Networks, which produced Now We Are Breaking Up, Dr. Romantic, Be Melodramatic, The Fiery Priest, Sweet Home, and Yumi’s Cells, will also join the collaboration. It is a work co-produced by Studio N, which will herald the birth of another well-made drama in 2022.
MBC’s new drama, Golden Spoon is the sequel to Doctor Royer and is ready to meet viewers on small screens in the second half of this year.
