Aiming for a life reversal in Golden Spoon, he portrays Lee Seung-cheon, an ordinary student who dreams of turning his life around with a golden spoon. He is told that his momentary choice will change his fate, and he will pay the price for it and lead a tumultuous life.
Revealed in the main poster is a bewildered Seung-cheon whose face is reflected inside the golden spoon like a mirror. Behind him is a posh house oozing with luxury. Also in the picture is an image of an old narrow house that reflects his reality.
Moreover, the text on the poster reads: “Steal life with a gold spoon”. It implies Seung-cheon who struggled with the bitter class society.
The unpredictable development of the changes that he will experience through the golden spoon and the relationship between the people around him is expected to add dramatic notes to the story.

In the drama, Seung-cheon enters Seoul Jeil High School where only the talented can enter thanks to his excellent intellect. His attitude toward life began to change 180 degrees as his desire for wealth grew.
After acquiring a golden spoon from a mysterious grandmother, he received a sweet offer that he cannot refuse.
“Go to the house of a child of the same age as you and eat only three times with that golden spoon. Their parents will become your parents.”
Previously, Yook Sung Jae provided a glimpse of his character in an interview. He also shares his affection for his latest drama character.
“Lee Seung-cheon’s character is ignored because he has no money, and he is a person who always says something to be confident in even an unreasonable situation. He was hurt a lot because of money and he made the choice to change my parents at an immature age, but I think that he is a person who always has a heart to protect and take responsibility for his loved ones.”
In addition, he revealed the reason why he was attracted to his latest project and the charm of his character.
“I really liked the original webtoon of ‘Golden Spoon and Seungcheon’s dynamic life is also interesting and attractive.”
Golden Spoon premieres on MBC on September 23.
